Go Down

Carver Amell

Car nods slowly. "I was gonna put fingers, just to see what it's like. But I can't reach. Do you... Could you reach for me?"

Bethany

"Sure," she chrips, pleased there's something easy she can do to help her twin. "Umm. Did ya wipe when you peed?"

Carver Amell

Car nods, shifting around a little to give Beth easy access -- and hugging her pillow tight in the process. It's normal, right? I'm meant to do this. To be a... a woman.

Bethany

Concern set to rest, Bethie ducks under the blanket. She ponders a moment, brow scrunched, then perks up. Miss Wibbles got his penis all wet in her mouth first. Pleased at remembering that step-- and deciding firmly to keep peeking, given how useful it is-- Bethie sucks on her finger vigorously before poking her twin's thigh with it. "Dark," she mutters, feeling around.

Carver Amell

Car gasps as a finger finds her folds, letting out a small whine. A moment later, the finger plumbs the depths of her, and she whimpers, hugging the pillow tight, eyes screwing shut as she wishes for it to be over. Miss Wibbles liked this. You should like this. You should be enjoying this. But the pit of her tummy is cold and she doesn't want to be a woman and she doesn't want to have babies. Still, Beth's finger encounters slick dampness, a mechanical reaction.

Bethany

With someone else, Bethie might have assumed these noises were the same as the ones Miss Wibbles made. But this is her twin. Her head pops out from under the covers, worry and guilt in her eyes. "Car? What's wrong?" she asks, voice quavering. Did I do it wrong? Did I hurt her? Is it 'cause imma girl too?

Carver Amell

"I don't want to be a woman," she whispers, shivering. "I don't. I don't ever wanna grow up."

Bethany

"Okay," Bethie says instantly. She has no idea how to help with that or what it'll mean. But she means it. She always will.

Bethany

I tried to touch myself this morning. Car is right it's hard to reach so I used the petal from the kitchen. Just hope Cook doesn't need ta smoosh anything til I can sneak it back. Didn't work anyways. Hurt. Guess it only works with a peenis. Were going out berry picking today and--

Looking a bit sick, Varric closes the diary and stares at it for a long moment. "Kids are strange," he declares, shuddering as he rises to brew. Still, seems a good kid really. Loyal and caring, if a bit careless (lucky they went bribe instead of threat). How did they get from that to ghosthood?

If he's going to fight a ghost, he's going to need holy water. Sure, he can brew it himself, but it won't have the same strength and potency as if he purchased it from a real live priest -- preferably of Mileen, but he can work with Astea.

(Just so long as it's not Alydra).

So he finds himself walking down to the parish church: a building somewhat larger than the schoolhouse, though still what he might call "quaint" if he were trying to sell the place. There's a churchyard beside it full of graves and statuary, and there's no stained glass in the ceiling, only a clear panel to illuminate the altar up front.

He's met at the door to the sanctuary by a stern-looking human man in full plate -- a paladin, clearly, of Vangal judging by the taberd draped across his plate. "What brings you to the church today, stranger?"

Varric

"Stranger for today only I hope," Varric replies with a wave. "Varric Tethras, recently of Nyra and currently the new owner of the old Verberry estate."

GamesMaster

"John Magnel, spiritual protector of Golden Shores, at your service." As he extends a hand to shake, his eyes glow ever so faintly for a moment before he smiles.

Varric

Rude (not that it would work, given my ring). Varric takes the hand, his smile not wavering in the slightest. "Just what I was hoping to hear," Varric replies with a faint sigh.

GamesMaster

"Oh? Have you a spiritual trouble, then? Come inside, I will hear your complaint."

Varric

Varric follows after the paladin, though he has to push down some reluctance about entering a temple after... after Nyra. "Trouble yes. Spiritual, yes. But not the way you're normally faced with, I wager. Angry spirit of some kind."
