"Convincing, but you didn't research your current face well enough," Varric says coldly. "T spends most of her off time with Father Lelldorin." Or in other words, perhaps the most knowledgeable and skilled person in all of Nyra on the subject of detecting sceleratis. 

[Theta "T" Roidmet]

"He knows. Of course he knows," she stammers. "I can't hide that kind of thing from him."

[Zevran]

"One would think such a thing would have come up when I asked him about your reference." The hard, almost cruel, note in Zevran's voice is likely far from reassuring. "Ma'joie, perhaps we should skip to a Truthing?"

[Helene Dakesh]

Helene nods. "Restrain her while I cast."

[Zevran]

"Better than blades to its throat?" 

[Helene Dakesh]

"If you want to be out of the area of effect, this one humbly suggests ropes."

[Zevran]

"I am fine," Zevran says curtly. His jaw clenches and he adds, "I do not wish to risk it escaping. But thank you."

Helene nods, and begins casting.

As soon as ne lowers nir hands, the creature speaks: "I am the being you know as--"

"It resisted the compulsion," Helene cuts it off. 

[Zevran]

Zevran growls very softly, then leans in a little. "Do not resist the next cast. We do not trust you without it. If we cannot get trustworthy answers from you, then you have no value."

"Then you may as well kill me," insists the thing in T's body. "I serve Kato. It's not in my nature to allow such a compulsion."

[Varric]

"Do you really?" Varric asks mildly. "Then you won't have any trouble repeating this; Sirena is a crude, incompetent and bratty toddler who is ruled by ego and avarice with more power than brains who doesn't deserve a handful of sand, much less be part of the Heptad. On my name and soul, I refute Sirena and deny any claim the Bitch has over me."
