[Aveline Vallen]

"I did say that Varric would pay for everything," Aveline puts out, getting a startled 'oye' from the Clan patriarch. 

[Marian Hawke]

"I can pay," offers Marian. "It's no big deal."

[Varric]

"What? No, absolutely not," Varric says instantly. "I insist on and when did you become crafty?" he finishes, staring at Aveline.

"Me, crafty? Varric, I'm a paladin, we're not crafty. I'm sure you're just tired.," Aveline suggests sweetly. "Get some sleep."

[Marian Hawke]

Marian reaches out and swats Aveline gently on the arm. "Come on. Let's get back to my cage like good little girls."

[Aveline Vallen]

"Maybe I..." Aveline grabs the hand before Hawke can retract it, rotating her grip until she's holding it properly, but falls silent after just two words. "If I vow not to help or allow her to escape, can we get actual privacy? In the cell, I mean." Aveline asks after staring at Hawke for a long moment. 

[Marian Hawke]

"Aveline.... please stop trying to bend the rules. I don't want to be a troublemaker."

[Aveline Vallen]

Aveline flushes a little. "I wasn't..." She runs a hand through her hair. "I wasn't really serious," she says quietly. "I have every expectation of you being eligible for bail-- not house arrest, as, again, you've not been sentenced yet-- and I can wait until tonight." Truth be told, I'd not be up for having sex in your cell the way I want anyway. Not even if we did get a comfortable lounger.

[Marian Hawke]

"Good. I think... I think if I do make bail I should stay with you for a few days, instead of going back to my dorm."

[Panis zi’Ulthlis]

"I think that, even with your relationship, most would be more comfortable with you being," Panis smiles faintly, "remanded into the custody of a Guard Captain and Paladin of Vangal. Certainly over having you simply set loose alone."

[Marian Hawke]

Hawke nods. "Trust only clan. With Aveline at my side, anyone would think twice about attacking us."

[Varric]

"And our girls," Aveline adds. "Plus, I suspect we'll be having frequent guests."

Varric chuckles softly. "I think that's putting it mildly, yes. Be easier for us all to move to Voice," he suggests, then frowns at seeing Panis shaking his head.

"Voice is a business, not just a home," Panis says simply. 

[Marian Hawke]

"Meaning people come and go with too much frequency to make it safe. Not unless we closed down for a few days. No. Aveline's place is better. Easier to ward, easier to guard. If someone's actually after us..."

[Aveline Vallen]

"Already warded," the paladin puts in. "Sometime last season. Stone from Estelle for the walls and roofing, runed woodwork from the Oak for the doors and windows sills, and the workings done by Helene and some Bright's I know. I think we'll be very safe indeed."

[Varric]

"...got a spare cot?" Varric asks awkwardly, glancing at Marian and Aveline in turn.

[Marian Hawke]

"With how often I've had guests crash at your place, I think you're entitled to crash at any of our homes whenever you want."
