"Literally divinely attractive," Estelle offers with a soft laugh, one with a purr in it.

"Yeah. That. They would be off the table, no seduction allowed." Claudia nods firmly.

Here Coquette looks to Estelle. "Your marriages are not, by default, exclusive?"

"Sex with males, unless they're married to someone outside your marriage, isn't considered cheating, no," Estelle confirms, sounding a touch surprised that Coquette needed to confirm this. She's normally better at keeping her reactions in check; perhaps its the concentration she's spending on the spell or perhaps she's letting her guard down around Coquette more. "One time encounters-- or rather, less often than once a decade or so in practice-- with a particular female are considered an indulgences at worst. Something you might be miffed at if they do too often or when you're already walking a ravine. Based on my experience with surface culture," which is limited and extensive both, as she's the principal delegate for the Enclave's surface trade, "I would like it most to one partner making an extravagant purchase without warning or consent. Not a ruinously extravagant one, just... significant."

She holds up a hand as she clears her throat, signaling she has more to say. "Repeated encounters with a particular female are... significantly less acceptable, as that strays into the territory of a relationship. Some, even many, marriages allow such, of course, but that comes after things are talked over, or even negotiated, between those involved. Finally, it's not considered cheating to have sex with someone for..." She hesitates, then goes with, "professional reasons."

"Do you mean whoring or..?"

Estelle flushes a little. "No. Well, yes, and also." She frowns. "Actually, I suppose both are prostitution, now that I think about it..." She shakes her head, then explains, "but what I originally meant was using seduction to secure a favorable assignment or promotion, to sweeten a deal, or to avoid a punishment. Perhaps strangely, a general affair for a non-specific goal is considered cheating." One final hesitation, then Estelle adds in a much more vulnerable tone, "while our current marriage agreement does not forbid any of that, I have not... made use of any that leeway."

"The last time I was wed, the rules were clear: no sex with women outside the marriage bed." She turns back to Claudia. "And part of me wishes to include men, as most surfacers do. Would you have run afoul of these rules?"

"Umm" Claudia hesitates, eyes sliding to Zevran. Well, we've had a threesome so... 

"Have you had sex with anyone not in this room since you've been wed to Coquette?" Zevran asks, swallowing a chuckle as he picks up what her confusion is about. Then grins when she blushes at his knowing nod.

"No. Just, umm, you know, us. I mean, yes, this room. The people, not the room. Obviously."

Coquette glances to Estelle, to silently ask the truth of that.

"Has anyone attempted to convince you to do so? Seduction or bargaining?" Estelle asks, the implication being that she'd not seen any hint of Claudia actions on such but wonders if any have tried to tempt Claudia. 

[Claudia Emerison]

"Umm. No. Not since--" The imisy gnome looks ashamed and yet also a bit pissed. "Not for a while, well before Coquette. Estelle winces, just a little, but no-- 

"Wait, no, sorry! Zevran and Jassinth! They both, uh, they flirt. A lot. And I think they're serious? At least mostly? So that might count? Or wait, no, Zevran is in the room so just-- just Jassinth." Estelle waits a moment, then nods.

Frustrated, Coquette shakes her head. "It's no good. We're going to have to lift the memory block to get the truth."

[Zevran]

"But it seems that she is not inclined to stray, even before you told her such would hurt her," Zevran notes with careful deliberation.

"Seems."

[Zevran]

He manages to not roll his eyes but he's tempted. "Yes, seems," he agrees instead. "Not that I disagree with removing the memory block."

[Claudia Emerison]

"Umm, agreed," Claudia chimes in, looking a bit hurt by how Coquette is acting.

Coquette is silent for a long moment before, with a little reluctance, admitting, "I have been cheated on before. I swore never again. I didn't think Claudia capable of... wounding me in this way. But I saw what I saw."
