Emiko relaxed at Shiori's graceful response to the somewhat unorthodox compliment. "If it's not too forward of mme, wwhen are you due?"

[Shiori]

"Not for a few years yet. It's a Neutrois."

[NPCs]

"Of course," Emiko replied, nodding. She looked mildly disappointed in the answer, but only in passing. "Have you thought about names yet?"

[Shiori]

"Not really. A few passing fancies. Do you have suggestions?"

[NPCs]

"Oh I wwouldn't presumme to..." Emiko replied with wide eyes. In previous generations, the details and rituals of pregnancy and birth were staunchly private to the immediate family (and Clan head, if applicable). Given she asked about the due date, Emiko must not be entirely of this mindset though. And she seemed flattered, if flustered, by the question.

[Shiori]

"Of course, my husband will make the final decision, but I hope to influence him towards something beautiful and plant-like in honor of their heritage. Rose, Lily, Briar, something like that."

[NPCs]

"B-Briar?" Emiko asked, noting the odd one out. Thorns, after all, lacked the same degree of connection to 'beauty' that flowers do.

[Shiori]

"If it's a boy."

[NPCs]

"Oh, yess, of course," Emiko agreed, nodding.

"What about Dreamy Junior? O Little Dream Dream?"

[Shiori]

"No no, those names should be for your own kits," protests Shiori playfully. 

[NPCs]

Dreamy paused to ponder this suggestion, allowing Emiko to speak up. "Oh, we're bbeing s-signaled." The disappointed lady gestured at the team of servers making their way around the room. "Wwould you care for oone last cup?"

[Shiori]

"So soon? Yes, I will have one more."

[NPCs]

"You two have been talking for well past an hour," Manu noted with amusement. 

[Shiori]

"It feels like it has been mere moments."

[NPCs]

"It wwas nice," Emiko agreed bashfully. "I am glad yyou accepted mmy invitation."
