[Shisou]

"Th-th-th-then i-i-i-it s-sh-should b-b-b-b-be n-n-n-o su-surprise I f-f-f-fancy y-y-y-ou," says Shisou, with a relieved smile. Oh good, he laughs. He's not like Nathaniel, not all the way. 

[Zevran]

"I am often fancied," Zevran says with a smile that looks so very tired. "But I cannot help but notice that you seem to think yourself unequal in your current company."

[Shisou]

Unequal? Well of course. I'm not beautiful like the Twins or powerful like the Ladies. "Y-y-y-y-es?" he says, unsure, as he continues doing his squats. 

[Zevran]

"It is not the otherworldly beauty of those two, or the haunted beauty of Nathaniel, but you are not without your own appeal, Higurashi Shisou of Vojopotencokuŝasenvenĝoprenitapostmalfelicxo's line." 

[Shisou]

He blushes, shaking his head. "Y-y-you d-d-d-d-don't h-have to f-f-f-flatt-t-t-er m-m-m-m-me."

[Zevran]

"I only flatter those who hold my leash," Zevran says with shrug.

[Shisou]

"I k-kn-know I a-a-a-m p-p-p-p-plain a-a-and s-st-st-st-st-st-u-t-t-t-tt-er. It's o-k-k-kay."

[Zevran]

"Plain?" Zevran scoffs. "Hardly. But stutter? Mmmh, that is true. It does not bother me overly much; far less so than other quirks of people I have known. I am somewhat surprised, given your access to wealth, that you have not found a solution or workaround, but it doesn't not bother me so much."

[Shisou]

"I d-d-d-d-did f-f-f-f-find o-o-o-one th-thing b-b-b-b-but... it w-w-w-as w-w-w-w-worse th-th-than the st-t-t-t-tutter." He blushes again. "I t-t-t-t-try n-n-n-n-not t-t-t-t-t-t-o b-b-b-be a b-b-b-b-b-bother."

[Zevran]

Zevran cocks his head to the side. "Might I inquire as to what that solution is? I knew someone with a stutter once who could sing clearly... if not, ah, shall we say professionally."

[Shisou]

"I-i-i-t i-i-i-n-n-n-n-v-v-volved a b-b-b-b-it of m-m-m-m-magic."

[Zevran]

"Ah," Zevran says uselessly. "Have you tried singing before?"

[Shisou]

He nods. "I c-c-c-can s-s-s-sing w-w-w-w-wit-th-th-o-o-oout..."

[Zevran]

"Try talking in a sing-song then," Zevran suggests. "Unless that would bother you more than the stutter?"

[Shisou]

Shisou hesitates, then sing-songs "I g-g-g-g-guess I can t-t-t-t-ry--" before shaking his head.
