Tsuki nods. "This is my fault -- the least I can do is help repair it."

[Jassinth]

"Excellent," Jass says after a very brief pause. His eyebrow had twitched ever so slightly at her response but he'd allowed no other hint of his feelings on her blaming herself for this bullshit to show. "Anyone else have any ideas? Aside from the obvious of procuring what potions, scrolls and general gear might possibly help I mean."

[Shiori]

"Mother has some old supplies in the attic we might be able to raid. Let's go look at what she has while Honored Koji procures the rest of it."

[Jassinth]

"Does she?" Jass asks even as he rises. "She has ritualist training then?"

[Shiori]

Shiori bows to Koji then stands, leading the way to the door. "No, she was an adventurer. She might have something we can use in that respect."

[Jassinth]

"Ah, I understand." He's quiet a moment, then asks curiously, "do you know how she was trained?"

[Shiori]

"Her father taught her some, and her uncle some after he passed, and then she matched up with a familiar of sorts who taught her more. That familiar was passed on to me."

[Jassinth]

"Sorry, I meant more 'as what' rather than 'by whom and when,'" he clarifies. 

[Shiori]

"Oh! A magical girl. It's something like a summoner, but with more martial prowess."

[Jassinth]

Magical... girl? That seems... both generic and bizarrely unusual? Somehow? "Ah, hence the thought she might have some spellcasting aids or the like." He hums thoughtfully. "Do you think she might have ritual training or experience?"

[Shiori]

"I am unsure, but Cabonne knows a lot about ritual, xe can help."

[Jassinth]

Great. No, it actually is good. Any help right now... "Helpful," he agrees as they head up the stairs. "Any other thoughts?"

[Shiori]

"Just..." Shiori turns to her sister, asking quietly, "Are you... going to be a help, here? I dont know your capabilities. I know you've been practicing but... it's different, in a real battle."

[GamesMaster]

Tsuki bristles, actually letting out a low growl, but then backs down, looking away. "...you're right. I'm an unknown to you and your friend. We can't rush into this assuming we'll win."

[Jassinth]

Jass hums softly, then suggests, "perhaps a round of sparring between us, to let us each see how the others fight, would be wise?"
