"Oh, that is where my body was remade by my God, Raplin. His physical incarnation is there, and his domain is nestled within the Oak."

"Oak?" Emiko echoed, looking a bit more focused suddenly.

"So you worship an offshoot of the True Huntress." Manu hummed, coils twisting in place as she studied Shiori with an almost predatory interest. "That is... a surprise."

[Shiori]

"Is it truly? And here I was thinking that my God had made me in his own image rather apparently," she laughed, twirling a green lock of hair around her finger the bright green claw. 

[NPCs]

"Is that a strange colour then?" Manu murmured to herself curiously.

Emiko, on the other fin, blushed ever so delicately. "I confess that I asssumed you had gnnomish blood."

[Shiori]

"Nope, no gnomish blood here! Just that my God deals more with plant life than animal life and so He colored my like a tree."

[NPCs]

"Plant? Oh, of course, you ssaid He was an Oak," Emiko realized. "Strange to me, to think of pplants as... doing? Things?"

[Shiori]

"Rest assured, we are very strange to him, too," laughs Shiori.

"...you sspeak as if you knnow Him well?"

[Shiori]

"Yes, I spent much time there with him and his Daughters while I was recovering from my magical misfortune."

[NPCs]

"That's increddible," Emiko proclaimed, blushing immediately afterwards. "I m-mean, it's jjust; ffew are they that m-met divine in p-person."

[Shiori]

"Raplin and his Daughters are happy to speak with people who come to them seeking aid. It's not a big deal."

[NPCs]

Lady Emiko stared at her for a long moment, then Manu cleared her throat. "Actually, Shiori-chan," the ancient being began, "while it might not be difficult in that specific area, once you know where that area is and managed to get there, it's very, very rare for even the most minor of sub-deities to be so... accessible to mortals not deeply sworn to them. For instance, none but a handful of the most devoted elders of Kame have seen, much less spoken with, the Lady of Slumbering Depths."

[Shiori]

"Well, of course. And though I have it on my dream wish list to speak to the Lady, I wouldn't assume such thing would be trivial. It's only Raplin that chooses to be so accessible."

"I wwonder why?" Emiko murmured, nose scrunched up cutely as she pondered.
