Countess Elaina Moorwood

"I'm sure you can" I say calmly, " their all being fired." I say with a smirk. "I was planning on hiring new knights Friday but I will singe you today if you are willing to work for someone....l unconventional"

Wylde

"You, my lady? Depends. Are you plotting a war with anyone or are you looking for more general guard duties and lawkeeping?"

Countess Elaina Moorwood

"That all depends on everyone else." I say with a chuckle. "For now it's mostly law keeping for now. Are you interested?"

Wylde

"An' ye'll knight me? Good and proper? Even' tho i'm nobody of nowhere?"

Countess Elaina Moorwood

"Tova!" I call the door opens "bring me one of the awards from the armory we have our first knight" I say I smile. She nods and is soon back with one. "I will need your full name" I say

Wylde

She pulls a face. "Must we? Must we use the name my mother gave me? Or can I give you the name I've fought under since I was twelve?"

Countess Elaina Moorwood

"YOUR name the name of your soul."

Wylde

She brightens. "They call me Wylde, the White Wolf."

Countess Elaina Moorwood

I smile. "I knight thee sir Wilde, the white wolf, knight of countess Elaina Moorwood, in survive of duke lance. " I say taping her with the sword.
"Would you like to stay and watch the others failures." I say with a wicked smirk "a body hard might keep me from having to have Tova kill them."

Wylde

Wylde gives a broad grin. "Oh yes, my lady, I certainly do."

Countess Elaina Moorwood

The day passes as knight after knight is sacked and merchants are chastised.  There are a few shouting matches but eventually Tova comes to bring us all down to the kitchen for supper

Tova koshack

"So a knight?" I say brightly as I surge Bowles of stew and fresh buns. "My hava will want to be a knight now. She changes her mind every day of what she wants to be. But I'm paying for her to learn to weave. She's good at it." I smile gently

Wylde

"Yeah?" asks Wylde, taking a bite of a bun. "How old is she?" she asks, mouth full of fluffy white bun.

Tova koshack

"12" I say "would you take her?" I ask "if not she'll be a good weaver"

Wylde

"Nah," says Wylde, chewing. "'s too late to start. To be a woman knight you have to be the best. Be born fighting and never stop. I was a page under Sir Belmont, and he taught me all sorts of ways to fight that don't rely on chivalry on your opponent's behalf."
