Go Down

Countess Elaina Moorwood

"Lycanthropy is nothing to be ashamed of and no one was Ethan wh didn't sorely deserve it." I say calmly. "Lance times are changing the world we grew up in is no more. Grow up"

Lance Roidmet

"NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF?!" snarls Lance, his hands balling into tight fists, one gripping his plate so tight it looks about to break. "Eating people! Murdering and raping! Nothing to be ashamed of! What the actual fuck do you mean?!" His volume goes down, tightly controlling his speech so that his rage shines through in every syllable, letting the explitive land like a blow.

Wylde

"What the actual racist bullshit are you on about?" snarls Wylde, getting up from her chair. "Don't you threaten my lady!"

Tova koshack

"Enough!" I whisper "let me settle this" I say casting a small spell wild glows gold "her soul is pure a rapist would glow red and a canible black she is neither. Do not slander her again." I say glaring at him. I take a breath and calm myself.  "Now, we are at dinner! Wild sit down MY lord either sit and be civil or leave!" I sate flatly the air cracklings around me

Lance Roidmet

"Why should I believe your witchcraft can divine truly the state of someone's soul!" Lance snarls. He hurls the plate down, uncaring if he's famished or not. "I will not tolerate witchcraft and lycanthropy in my home! Get out, all of you get out!"

Countess Elaina Moorwood

"Lance! Enough!" I say standing I close the gap between us grabbing his arm we need to talk. Now!" I say dragging him from the room. The door swinging shut behind us.

Lance Roidmet

Lance wrenches free as soon as they are in the hallway, as if proving he could have done so at any time. "I swore on my sister's grave that I would not let those creatures run free. The creatures that killed her! And you brought one here!"

Countess Elaina Moorwood

"I didn't know" I say softly "I'm sorry Lance if I had known I would have done this differently." Grief wells in me I loved his family as my own. Dog. Hunting dogs was what was told, but no roug werewolf's. Tears sting my eyes and this time I let them fall. "I'm so sorry." I sob

Lance Roidmet

Lance hesitates, his anger fading as grief wells up in him as well. "I sought them out, killed as many as I could find," he says softly. "I never... I haven't killed the one who did it, but I got as many of his kin as I could."

Countess Elaina Moorwood

"We will find the one responsible lance and he will see justice. But wild is now the one you need to be angry with. She didn't do this. And Monday she saved my life. We went to town to fix the errors in the books and get your families estate back in order and when I was attacked she risked her own life for seigfried and I. She is one of the few people I can count on."

Lance Roidmet

"Do you swear?" he asks, quietly. "Do you swear to bring him to justice? He is a huge wolf, larger than you have seen before, with mottled red-brown fur and dark black eyes. Swear to me you will bring him to justice."

Countess Elaina Moorwood

I stare him dead in the eyes. "I sear on my life I will get you justice lance."

Lance Roidmet

Lance slumps against the wall, covering his face with one hand. "Thank you," he whispers, earnestly.

Countess Elaina Moorwood

"Lance, I haven't been honest with you. Uncle Nigel has been unwell and Philip has been barely consiance this last year. I am the regent now and when Philip eventually dies I will be named are. But because of our engagement I can't be queen Ulysses we are married. Lance if I'm not queen the only other air is William Brennan and I think we both know how badly that will go." I sigh "Lance if you really want us to leave you alone the only way I can in good conscious is to marry you and the lead separate lives. Until then I will do my best to keep you and wild apart and Tova from causing to much mischief." I smile gently to him

Lance Roidmet

"All this merriment, this... you came in and destroyed everything I had worked so hard to preserve in her memory. This house is nothing without Muriel. She was our heart and soul. Perhaps, in time, I could have healed from the death of my parents, but my baby sister..."

His hand lifts briefly to wipe at his eyes, fat tears forming there.

"Forgive me," he growls, clearly frustrated. "I am unmanned by the, the injustice of it all."
