"I suppose... it might be better to approach my sisters first..."

In fact, Elaina had heard Gamlen's name recently.... now where was it....

I try but can't place it, but I know Tova lived on his land and might know more. "I don't know much more but my friend Tova might she lived there for a time shall we ask her?" I say leading him to the kitchen where I know she will be starting breakfast

"Only if -- I mean, do we have to tell her why, or just...?"

"No we don't I'll ask her for a story." I say grinning and opening the kitchen door

I join my friend at the table as Tova puts the last plate on the table. It only takes a small poke for Tova to start one of her stories. "Tova didn't you live in Gollames duchess?" I ask and when she nods I know I've got her. "When was that?" I ask and she grins taking off

[Siegfried]

The story is pretty mundane: a story about a run-in with some antisemetic guards and how Gamlen pardoned the guy against all sense of justice. But as Siegfried hobbles in and settles, he asks, "Oh, are we considering attending the wedding?"

"What wedding?" I ask

[Siegfried]

"We received notice that Duke Amell is to be wed. I believe the wedding is in a few days, actually."

[Countess Elaina Moorwood]

"I'm not sure lance will be up for it.... but it will be good to meet them to see what we're dealing with"

[Marian Hawke]

"I suppose I should round up some of the boys. For security reasons. Of course." says Garrett, still sounding a little off his game. "After all, you'll need more than just Sir Wylde to protect you if you travel outside the duchy."

[Countess Elaina Moorwood]

"You're right." I say thoughtfully. "I'll have to ask Lance if he will come if not I'll need an escort for the ceremony. To to mention a gift. Still it will be worth it. I'll need every duke I can get on my side." I sigh snoozing is smithing 8m good at but it takes all my energy

[Siegfried]

"I arranged for a gift to be sent, so that's no trouble," says Siegfried. "Your escort will need proper attire, however."

I nod and rise from the table. "I'll talk to Lance but if not Garret and Wild will need proper attire. Wild will need proper dress armor not to mention a better kit that what you have, and Garret could use some dress cloths." I say heading to the door. The first thing though is lance.

I take a breath as I stand outside od lances door. I Knick before entering holding breakfast in my hand.
"Good morning" I say gently

Lance looks up from his desk, dark circles under his eyes. Seems he's been writing all night. "Good morning," he says, with only a small frown. He mostly looks tired, not pissed, which is an improvement.

"What's kept you up all night?" I ask gently fear creeping into my heart that my mewling kept him awake
