Rocket’s ship

"no thanks," he says, brusquely.

"A shame. I had hoped to take a detour and show you the pride and joy of my colany, but I suppose you wouldn't be interested in seeing a steal fridge now that everyone has changed over to lasers.... still our smiths make the best blades the galaxy over.... oh well."

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

Kor's ears perk up. "... A forge?"

[Countess Elaina Moorwood]

"Oh yes there's an I tire forge district. Hundreds of smiths make everything from kitchen knifes and small blades up to museum replicas and pole arms. Any king of blade you want can be found there and the ones you have can be cleaned, sharpened, and repaired..... but you wouldn't be interested in that would you? And I'm sure you wouldn't want to see the tournament of sword masters when we arrive."

"...maybe Rocket will take me," says Kor slowly

"I hope she does...though I think she was planning on leaving right away... still o hope she takes you, it's a sight to see." I smile as I stand "I hope to see you again dear and should you ever need anything give me a shout."  I lean on my aid as we leave the mess

"Wait... maybe, alright? Maybe. That's the best I can do."

I nod with a smile

After eating, Kor heads for the bridge, where he figures Rocket is likely to be at this time of day.

I'm on my way to my charging port when I see kor in the hall. "Hey come walk with me" I say with a smile. Tova told me this morning that kor had visited for advice on sexuality last night and seeing him now made me want to pull him into a hug and tell him it would all be ok, while also hoping he didn't hear reaper snoring on the other side of the door. I know it's sound proof but still.

"Hey," he says. "Listen, there's this forge place I guess, Elaina was telling me about it,"

"So I know you're young and you're starting to explore a lot of new things, and that's great, I just want you to know that if you need anything for the self discovery process tova- wait what? Forge???"

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"Yeah, wait, what, sorry, did you-- okay but mine's real quick, if I can go first?"

"Yes please!" I say flushing

"I was talking to Elaina and she said there was this forge, I guess a whole planet of forges, and, and could we maybe go?"
