Rocket’s ship

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

That does it -- Kor feels the helplessness building up inside, the lack of sleep wearing on him, the physical inadequacies. It's easier the second time, falling into that place, where only the pain and rage exist. He closes his violet eyes and opens them red, from edge to the yellow pupil. 

Then he rushes forward, ducking to grab his weapon. He's easily twice as fast, now, but fury tempers his technique, making his swings go wild (though powerful and fast). 

[Reaper]

"You're angry! Good! But don't let it control you!" I shout as I land a hit "control it! Hon it! Weird it like your sword!" I call watching as he rushes back at me

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

Kor's only answer is a snarl, as he throws himself forward again and again. Hints and flashes of technique break through by the fourth assault, and by the fifth, he actually manages to touch Reaper, though it's a quick withdrawal after a faint and doesn't have all his force behind it. The next two vollies he loses, and for a moment he lands on his ankle weird, but he gets back up instantly, so he seems to be alright. Then, after that, he manages a feint that leads into a blow across the middle that knocks the wind right out of the bigger man despite the wooden sword and close range. 

[Reaper]

Even panting I recover and slam him back with my foot "good" I wheeze "you're improving."

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

Kor snarls, wiping his mouth of spittle. Then he rushes forward again, only his leg goes out from under him and he falls, snarling, to the ground. His head hits the ground, and the world spins as he sags, letting pain overwhelm him momentarily as he blinks away the dizziness. 

Pain...?

Oh. Oh god, my ankle hurts! 

[Tova koshack]

I can feel pain as I run to the training room both reaper and kor are three hours late to their watch and I went look. I rush in to find kor on the floor reaper standing over them it only take me a second to know exactly what has happened. "What the hell is wrong with you two? You should know better than to train in this condition! And your reaper! You're the traine why on gods bright galaxy did you push him so hard?! He's snapped that ankle clean! I could kill you for this you're so posed to be the responsible one to rockets implosive arigwnce and now look what's happened! And you!" I turn to kor "you have just gone through a trauma! You shouldn't push yourself so hard you need to be gentle on yourself!" I cry "I'm taking you to the hospital wing!" I say stepping into the cage to pick him up

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"Wait," he growls, holding up a hand. He takes a deep  breath, then another, straightening his leg. "It bore weight, just a moment ago. It was fine. Why...?"

[Tova koshack]

I catch him before he falls. "Kor you're not angry anymore the adrenaline is leaving you and the pain you once ignored is coming back. I'm taking you to see a doctor." I say scooping him up

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"No, wait, I'm sure I can--" but his protests fall on deaf ears as he's taken to the med bay. 

[Tova koshack]

I stand with him as his ankle is fixed and walk him back to my room and make us a pot of tea. "Sit" I say gesture is to the couch as I sit cross legged in a chair mug in hand. "Tell me what happened today." I say calmly looking at him.

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

Kor stands by the door, unsure of himself. "I ... I should go."

[Tova koshack]

"No you shouldn't you should sit down and drink your tea and tell me what happened. You can't hold it all inside kor you'll explode. It will take time it won't be easy but at the very least we should talk about the training incident today." I say gently "everything you say. To me will be confidential"

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"It was an accident, that's all." He turns to go. 

[Tova koshack]

"No it wasn't. We both know it wasn't. Today you lost control and hurt yourself tomorrow you may hurt someone else. Kor you're a smart kid. What happened to push you so over the edge?"

[Kuronue "Kor" Higurashi]

"None. Of your. Fucking. Business," he growls. Anger feels safer, more comforting. Anger can protect him from the pain.
