"No sir." I mumble turning back to my book work

[Jamie D'vart]

Class is over soon enough, and Jamie heads to his usual lunch spot: the art room, where he can sit in a corner and eat while reading a book. When Tova joins him, he puts the book away, looking up with misery in his eyes. "Coach is gonna kill me. And Mark's going to take my solo." 

[Tova koshack]

"Maybe coach can convince him to let you do it tomorrow?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"Yeah. I hope. Season's almost over though." A pause. "I might not sign up next year."

[Tova koshack]

What! Why

[Jamie D'vart]

"..there's a lot going on with the pack and stuff, and I'll be taking my AP exams and my SATs, and... you know... I'll br busy."

[Tova koshack]

"Fair dixio. And we werent planning on yhis yet so I'll probably drop out over yhr suwr and take my ged"

[Jamie D'vart]

"...I like school but... that might make sense. Especially if Toby needs help with the pack. The way it' been growing..."

[Tova koshack]

I nod "still if I'm homeschooling you can come to real school."

[Jamie D'vart]

"You're head cheerleader, it seems silly to make you drop out for my sake."

[Tova koshack]

"It's more for the baby than anything....."

[Jamie D'vart]

"Oh... right." A pause. "Are you going to lose your spot on the squad? Because you'll get all fat?"

[Tova koshack]

"First of all fuck you. Second no I'll maintain my spot. So long as I can still cheer I can still lead."

[Jamie D'vart]

"But like... is that... safe? What if you fall off the pyramid?"

[Tova koshack]

"We'll it's a good thing I'm at the base. Look Jamie I get you're worried but I'll be fine promise"
