Tobys cabin

[Toby]

Dixon and I come running as Kara called us... "Jamie...." My heart breaks seeing him crying like that... I wrap my arms around him "hey you're safe you're safe I'm here I got you."

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie wriggles, trying to get free. "Toby," he whimpers. "This is my brother.. Mikhail... he... he doesn't..."

"Hey," he says, trying to sound sympathetic. "I'm just really surprised, that's all."

[Toby]

"Oh....." I let Jamie go and rub the back of my head awkwardly "hi I'm Toby Jamie's mate and first aloha of this pack. This s Dixon my friend and co alpha, he's the one to ask if you have questions, I gotta get to the store to help close as two people called in, I'll be back in an hour or so..." I say a little stiffly then a kiss Jamie's for head and call an I love you over my shoulder as I head out.

Jamie smiles after him, clearly lovesick. That is, until his brother coughs a little. 

"So... you're... dating an alpha," he says slowly. 

[Dixon]

"Yes he his, as Toby said I can awnser any questions about pack life "

Mihail nods slowly. "What about his being underage? Is that not a factor?"

[Dixon]

According to the mating law of 1986, the mark can be given at birth with parental consent and with mates consent after the age of 15. What all that means is Jamie is protected under pack law as a mate since he took the bite. When a mate takes the bite it starts a process that leads one of two ways. They either live together until they decide to part ways or the choose to proceed with binding themselves together."

"I'm not asking about the law," he says, a little annoyed. "I'm sure Mom would sue you into oblivion if you broke any laws. I'm asking about Jamie's being... young and... impressionable. You know how he is by now, I'm sure."

"He's, not under duress! Look you don't get it being here protects him from harm!"

Mikhail raises his hands in a placating gesture. "I know I don't understand," he says calmly, voice soft. "That's why I'm asking questions."

[Dixon]

"Tova take Jamie and the others on a hike I think Mala would like some black Barrie's for a pie." I say sternly to my wife. She huffs but obeys. "Sorry she and Jamie are very close she's just looking out for him."

Mikhail watches Jamie go for a moment before turning to Dixon, holding out a hand to shake. "Mikhail D'vart. I'm Jamie's older brother."

[Dixon]

I take the hand shaking it firmly "Magor Alexander Dixon social worker and alph."

[GamesMaster]

"Can you tell me what happened to my mother? She wasn't at home when I visited. Looks like the place is locked up tight, nobody's been there in a long time."

I take a breath "to make a long story short, her boyfriend Steve was an abusive wear tiger, and turned her without consent. He the tourtered her until she gave him Jamie for his pack.....mate theft is very serious in our community......and Steve tried to kill Jamie when he fought back....he's dead now, and your moms living hear and working with a con sailor to help heal......I'm sorry no one told you."
