Jamie nods. "I'm... mostly scared of what happens when my dad comes back. He swings into town every few years."

"We'll protect you from him"

"I'll need to email him or something. Let him know what happened. he doesn't.... well he's not a very good dad, to be honest, he doesn't think like a dad should."

"So why bothe? If he's a bad dad why reach out?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"Because if he comes into town and I'm missing, he'll go on a amurdernig rampage and fight ya'll to the death to rescue me."

I raise my eyebrow slightly but nod "fair enough.... Have you told your mom yet?"

"Of course not. We're in the woods. I don't have cell reception."

"Ok so you'll have to tell me how it goes Monday. Also here" I hand him a slip of paper "it's my number you can text me when ever"

Jamie pulls out his cell, programming the number in. "How doyou spell your name?"

"Oh cool. I'm J a m i e, not J a i m e, by the way."

Jamie nods, finishing up. "You'll have a text from me when I have signal again."
