[Jamie D'vart]

"...Mom called you," says Jamie, flatly. 

[Acutis D'Vart]

"Your mom called me, yeah. Granted I was going to visit in the next few weeks when looking brought me back over this way. Now, let me have a look at you." Acutis seemed to be looking Jamie over critically.,

" So....what's this about you being kidnapped?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"It's not true, I'm just his mate and Mom doesn't like it and so I ran away."

[Acutis D'Vart]

Acutis paused to arch an eyebrow at Jamie's statement. ".....and you told you're mother that?" There was a pause before he shook his head and kept looking "That's the kind of thing that would get your new boyfriend set on fire and you know that."

[Jamie D'vart]

"She tried to shoot him!"

[Acutis D'Vart]

"Well, that's kinda how she was going to react to anyone you brought home, to be honest." He didn't add what Acutis might have done, but Jamie probably dreaded the idea. Acutis nods to himself as he finished. "So...how exactly did you manage getting yourself connected to a big werewolf in the first place?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"I.. well, we started.... you see, I'm..." Jamie's mouth runs dry. 

[Acutis D'Vart]

Acutis blinks a moment before his gaze softens. "Jamie, you know I don't care that you're gay, right? I just want you to be happy and in one piece. Pretty sure your mom wouldn't mind either, so that's nothing to worry about."

[Jamie D'vart]

"You must not know Mom," he mutters. 

[Acutis D'Vart]

Acutis gave a long sigh. "Believe me, of the several things that lead up to our separation, my sexuality was almost negligent in them. I am sure she'd threathen whoever you brought home...tho if you started with saying that you were mated, that'd probably make her think you eloped or something."

[Jamie D'vart]

"Steve sure as hell cares," he mutters. "And she doesn't say boo to him."

[Acutis D'Vart]

"..." There was a slight shift to Acutis's voice. "That...won't do at all, I don't think."

[Jamie D'vart]

"Wait, you're gay!?" 

[Toby]

I come around the corner dish towel over my shoulder eyebrow raised "who's gay?" I ask "also dinners ready wash up and come to the table."

[Acutis D'Vart]

And with that, the normal tone returned to Acutis's voice. "Bisexual, acutally, and dinner sounds great! It's actually been some time since I've had a sit-down meal that wasn't interrupted with something."
