"Does mom know? Is that why you got divorced? Are you with a guy now? Are you sure you're bi and not gay?"

[Toby]

"That's a lot of questions pup. Go wash up he can awnser them if he wants later." I say shaking my head

[Acutis D'Vart]

"Yes, not even close, yes, and fairly sure. I'll let you know if that changes, tho." Acutis shrugged as he headed for the house. "Still, we should probably go ahead and eat before you get into the next list of them."

[Toby]

"We should all eat before mala comes chase us down. She hates her meals going cold. We've got bultikavalushcka tonight. It's pork stew with dumplings. Hope that's ok"

[Jamie D'vart]

"Uh sure, I'm not... Muslim or anything."

[Toby]

"Didn't think so but there some weird allergies around nowadays." I say taking a seat "Acutis thi is my wife mala, and my children Rosie and echo. Their from a past relationship and mala's here for a green card." I say easily. It's not the first time I've had to explain my family

[Acutis D'Vart]

"Nice to meet you all." Acutis didn't seem bothered about the family make-up. "Hmm, this does smell very good."

[Toby]

"So acutis how long are you in town for? Jamie goes back to school tomorrow and there's 6weeks left till summer break."

[Acutis D'Vart]

"A couple of days at least. Most of the work I do can be done remotely, though I should probably apologize for anything out of the ordinary that happens in the meantime."

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie winces. Right... I forgot how embarrassing Dad can be.

[Toby]

"That's fine things could use a shake up." I smile

[Acutis D'Vart]

"I'll try to remember that." HE gave a smile as he tried some of the food. "Hmmm. Very good." Acutis took a couple more bites. "So, Jamie, how did the two of you run into each other?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"The Boys and Girls Club," admits Jamie.

[Toby]

"I'm a mentore there I've got a fairly young pack. The old alpha here ran a home for abandoned and abused fur folk. I took them in when she passed."

[Acutis D'Vart]

Acutis...paused a second as he thought. "I...that's probably something you'd be worried about. The mentor part not the home part. That's actually a good idea and one you're probably proud of." Another pause. "Also, if you told Sophia that, it would definitely explain the sudden threat of violence."
