Tobys cabin

[Toby]

"Well I'm different than I was then. And war.... It's chaos. There's a lot going on and shifting in a quite forest is different than a war zone. And coming back....it's different....."

[Jamie D'vart]

"How is it different, though?" pushes Jamie, insistent. 

[Toby]

"We'll no ones shooting at me for one." I say flippantly. Damn I don't want to talk about this! "in a war zone when everything is quiet you know something's is about to go down, here when it's quiet it's just quiet."

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie frowns a little. "I... guess? What does that have to do with shifting though?"

[Toby]

"Everything. You're wolf is your instinct.  You know about fight and flight Yah? Well now you have fight flight and shift. When the adrenaline hits your wolf will want to come out. To take over, to protect you and your pack. That helps in a war zone keeps you alive, but here? I can't shift every time a car backfires now can I?"

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie's face lights up. "Oh! You have, what's it called, Battle Fatigue! I read about that in history class, after World War 2 everyone had it."

[Toby]

"It's called ptsd now. And yah I do, but my wolf learned to fight and now it doesn't know how to stop."

[Jamie D'vart]

"Can you teach me to fight?"

[Toby]

"I can, but Dixon might be a better teacher, I'm a bit of a hard ass......" don't ask me to teach you to fight! I don't want to hurt you!.....well I do and that's the problem. I can't help it the thought of Jamie tied up bleeding and begging for me to take him seeps into my mind and I start to harden.

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie notices, glancing down briefly. He's... interested in teaching me to fight? "But I don't know Dixon like I know you."

[Toby]

Damn it! I turn to hid my flush from him. Pull yourself together you're a harden killer not a teenager! You kill for fun and sport! Yes he's your mate your toy but stop acting like a kid! I look over the shore trying to think. "Please master!" I shake my head I can hear him begging

"Tell you what," I say standing and stripping down to my boxers, "I'll race you to the middle of the lake you beat me and I'll teach you."

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie barely nods before he bolts to the water's edge, stripping as he goes, plunging into the cold water buck naked as he whoops and hollers. Despite the head start, he is quickly overtaken by Toby, who is clearly the stronger swimmer. Nevertheless, as they approach the sandbar in the middle of the lake, Jamie grabs his ankle, trying to pull him back and overtake him again. Toby ends up sprawled across the sandbar, Jamie atop him, and there's only a moment to glance into each other's eyes before Jamie is kissing him, fiercely and passionately. 

[Toby]

The cold water helped calm my not only for it to come back with a vengeance as Jamie kisses me. In an instant I've rolled him over pinning him down kissing him fircly nipping and nibbling on his lips and neck.

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie wriggles and squirms, trying to get comfortable, and a soft, submissive whine comes out of his throat before he realizes what he's doing. Weird... 

[Toby]

I lick his throat accepting his submission. I let up slightly loosening my grip just enough. "What's wrong little one?" I growl softly in his ear feeling his stiffness below mine. "Aren't you having fun"
