"I... I'd prefer... I mean isn't it safer to limit it?"

"Sti's can be transmitted in single partner relationships if you're not or acting safe sex. But that's not what I asked. Jamie. What do you want? I want you to be happy and if you only want to date me then that's fine. I can do that for you. If not then that's ok to and if you change your mind one way or the other that's also fine but I can't do what you don't tell me"

"I... I think we should start like that... you know, just us."

[Toby]

"Thank you for saying so." I say gently ruffling his hair "I know that was hard to say and I'm proud of you for doing so. Can you tell me what just us looks like for you? I want to make sure so I don't over step your boundaries"

[Jamie D'vart]

"I-- I mean... just... normal?"

[Toby]

I give him a look. "And what does normal look like for you?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"Like, you know... like boyfriends? What other ways are there?"

[Toby]

"Jamie, I don't know what you expect from a boyfriend and I'm not a good judge of normal. I'm 'married' to a Ukrainian mobsters runaway wife, father of two baby wolfs, getting married ot a half fae half wolf.. oh and the only romantic relationship I had prior was to my best friend I'm not normal Jamie and if you want me to try to be I'm gonna need very specific instructions" I grin

[Jamie D'vart]

"Just, you know... don't... with anyone else."

[Toby]

"Don't what with anyone else? Don't. Talk too, look at, kiss, fuck?"

[Jamie D'vart]

"I mean, you can like. Talk to people, and stuff. Just not the other stuff. Well I mean, you can look at them, just don't like. Look look."

[Toby]

"Ok," I smirk "but what if I do?"

[Jamie D'vart]

Jamie bites his lower lip, looking away. "Uh... I guess I can't dump you so..."

[Toby]

I laugh. "Ok new tactic. Come here." I say patting the seat next to me by my desk. Once he's over I take out a note pad and penciled "first write down everything you want in a relationship. Next write down all the things you're willing to do to get those things. Then write down everything you won't tolerate. And assume you can always leave me.  Alright? I'll make one too. Then we'll share ok?"
