The Prince and the Priestess

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"That sounds pretty," he says quietly in Turkish. "What means it?"

[Raja kumarie]

"It means 'love is something we choose.to grow' It's the advice given to brides on their wedding days. It reminds us they you may be a stranger but I can choose to live a life with you that leads to love." I smile gently my brackets and bells jingling as I pull my vail back allowing him to see my full face. Dark eyes shining

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

Oh. "May I kiss you?"

[Raja kumarie]

My heart flutters but I nod coyly

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

Ryuu moves in slowly, cupping a hand around the back of her neck before going in for a shy, gentle kiss. 

[Raja kumarie]

Hi lips are soft like silk and I'm glad I chose hibaria instead of ebatia for my wedding els the ring would get in the way of our kiss. I party gently from him after a second and pick up a comb from my bedside table. "Let me comb your hair." I smile sweetly.

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

he stiffens a little. "I apologize for being unkempt," he says, quietly, moving to adjust his ponytail. 

[Raja kumarie]

I tilt my head slightly jingling as I do. He thinks I'm being rude
"You look handsome." I say stiltedly in Japanese before switching to Turkish "it is my job as your wife to care for you. To help you relax. Wives often brush their husbands hair as a form of intimacy just as a husband brushing a wives hair is a singe of affection. I ment no disrespect." I say lowering my head

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

He hesitates, his shoulders relaxing a little. "My apologies." He pulls his hair down, then, moving to sit on the bed. 

[Raja kumarie]

It's so long and straight. I gently guid him back so he's laying in my lap before gently running my comb through his hair. I sing gently as I do an old Hindi song of birds and flowers.  Once I'm satisfied I move one hand to stroke his face gently. "Are you exited for tomorrow love?" I ask gently

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"Tomorrow?"

[Raja kumarie]

I laugh brightly "our wedding." I smile "well the final part of it."

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

He stares at her. "...our wedding was today. We're wed, now."

[Raja kumarie]

"Yes we've had your blessings but someone should have told you you are expected to become my fathers heir and that means you will receive a special blessing tomorrow from Vashti and myself to bless our union." I wrinkle my nose at him "did no one tell you?"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"I do recall mention of some... appeasement of spirits," he admits.
