"I do not know how much fabric is in one of them, mistress."

[Raja kumarie]

"The one I'm earring today is 10 melters long and 60 inches cross."

[GamesMaster]

"It may be barely sufficient, as you are not very tall -- more commonly it is 12 or so meters of fabric for a kimono."

[Raja kumarie]

I nod lost in thought a moment. " your contract is nearly up with my father, once you are free of it I would like to offer you a permanent position I'm my house as a cultural advisor I still have much to learn and I've come to value your opinion and companionship. Plus you can come and go freely from this compound and having eyes I trust outside is well worth the salary I'd give you. "

[GamesMaster]

"As you like," she says quietly, bowing in response. 

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

When Ryuu returns home that evening, he is frowning, a fancy scribed letter in one hand. "Good evening, wife," he says, sounding distracted. 

[Raja kumarie]

I smile at his entrance looking up from the catalog of kimono lotus gave me. Yh past two weeks have been good and peaceful. We've fallen into a ruteen of spending time outside before supper . I see his face and frown slightly

" What's wrong?"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

He schools himself, his face fixing into a bland expression. "Nothing. In fact, the news is joyous."

[Raja kumarie]

"If it is joyful news love then share so we might celebrate!" I chuckle rising to come kiss his cheek. 

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"My older brother has been honored by the Emperor. He has been appointed general of our eastern province."

[Raja kumarie]

"I was not aware we were at war?"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"We aren't, as a nation. But there are a few.... malcontents. It will be his job to quell them."

[Raja kumarie]

"Ah I see!" I smile gently "when is he to leave and what is expected of us both before and after his departure?"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"Oh, he was visiting the emperor already, so this is just letting us know."

[Raja kumarie]

"Oh" I say blushing "I'm happy for him..... Ryuu.... Do you envy his position? Not as general but as first son? Everything I've learned thus far shows that it is the eldest son that is most...." I want to say loved as everything goes to him leaving brothers and sister to fend for themselves on a fathers death still I don't want to be harsh "valued" I settle on
