The Prince and the Priestess

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"Ancestors, no," he says, shocked. "Do you think they would have let me marry a foreigner if I was the first son?"

[Raja kumarie]

"So... what you're saying is you'd rather have me than some title" I smirk happily wrapping my arms around his waist and kissing his neck

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"One could see it that way," he says with a kind smile. 

[Raja kumarie]

I giggle happily kissing his cheek. Then I untangle myself from him taking his hand and pulling him twords the garden "come I have somthing to show you"

Ryuu happily follows, smiling at his bride.

The garden looks like something from a painting. It s a perfect mesh of a tea garden and a Turkish lounge. There's a seating Areias under a pagoda with a thick rug in red and gold. Cushions of deep indigo and round pillows. There's a short wooden table that is set with a Japanese tea set.

Around the pagoda there's sweet hibiscus bushes and Sakura trees. Along with a strong cedar tree that had a swing on one of its boughs. There were delicate lanterns of glass shaped as lotus blossoms around the pagoda and the path leading up to it.

The very best part was my harp sitting in the pagoda next to a straight backed chair.

"I've learned that it is important for there to be a space in the home that the husband might relax after work or bring business associates to to have tea and conversation. Blooming lutes said a garden is best so I had Vashti use her talents to grow this place for us. A small oasis that is one of peace for us and your friends." I smile gently proud of the space I've made for us over the last two weeks.

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

Ryuu wipes a tear. "This is... Raja, this is amazing. How did you do all this?"

[Raja kumarie]

"I asked your mother what your favorite flowers are and then had Vashti use her green magic to make them grow quick and healthy. I wanted a space that was whimsical yet sophisticated." I smile guiding him to the pagoda "come rest. Would you like some tea or to listen to my harp?"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"...can you play the harp? I find music helps me to remain calm and focus my mind."

[Raja kumarie]

I nod and take my seat behind the harp. It takes a moment to get settled but my fingers know the instrument well. A soft pattern of notes fall gently from the strings as I pluck them.

"I've gone to ask the river man, to have him tell me all he can about the world and seasons fair. Won't you tell me all you know about the way your river flows and of the world and summer time" I sing gently as a play music floating gently on the breeze

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

Ryuu reclines on a pillow, eyes fluttering closed as he takes in the music. 

After a short time he begins to snore. 

[Raja kumarie]

I finish my song before toasting a pillow at ryuu and laughing as he wakes with a start. "I don't know weather to be pleased or offended that I put you to sleep" I tease gently " truth be told I'm glad you find this place rest full.  I can't wait to meet your friends when you bring them here. And don't worry I'll tone down the spice. I may even wear kimono for you"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"I wasn't sleeping," he protests. "I was meditating. Deeply."

[Raja kumarie]

"you were snoring" I giggle "why don't you bring some friends ove for dinner tomorrow I'd love to meet them and we can have vashti and some of the girls play music and dance for them"

[Ryuu Ishikawa]

"Eeh... my friends are... not used to female company."
