Haven: The Beginning

I nod "mind telling me why? Don't mean to pry just need to make sure I know who all I'm living with."

[Wylde]

Her peeling becomes more jerky, more angry. "I ratted out another wolf to the police."

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

I nod. "Say no more" I say gently I've walked too many soilders to the plains after the reported another soilder who assaulted them. I know too well that the marines have a date rape epidemic on their hands. Anyone willing to lose their home to keep someone safe is fine by me

[Wylde]

She laughs, a little oddly. "What, that's it? You hear I was a snitch and you're good with me now?"

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"You were willing to lose your home to do what you felt was right. I'd rather have someone willing to lose everything to protect others than someone who is willing to let it ride."

[Wylde]

"Huh." She goes back to peeling potatoes, not sure how to feel about this development. She's not used to being praised for sticking her neck out. 

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

I wave my hand and the stove lights. I start to cook dinner. Humming as I do. Then the phone rings.

"Hello?" I ask before witching to ladino to shout at my ex about the divorce before hanging up "bastard" I mutter stove flaring a bit.

[Wylde]

"Tense call?" she asks, almost knowingly. 

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"Yep." I say tossing the veggies together

[Wylde]

"Got a boyfriend back home?"

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"Nope" I say crossing to the fridge and pulling out a block of sheep's cheese.

[Wylde]

"Cool, cool. Me neither, by the way."

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

"House full of single ladies." I say forcing. Smile

[Wylde]

"Butterball better be single," she mutters under her breath. "I'mma fucking kill anyone that touches her."

[Ryle “Rocket” Arora]

I raise an eyebrow at that. "You're little sister?"
