Movement of the Wilds

[Wylde]

"You called him. When you were mad at me."

[Tova koshack]

"I panicked. I didn't know what to do but I hung up right away it only rang I didn't talk to him."

[Wylde]

"Promise me you'll never talk to him again."

[Tova koshack]

"I promise"

[Wylde]

Wylde nuzzles her shoulder, settling in. "I lov eyou."

[Wylde]

The next morning, Wylde runs out to get them both coffee, since they have no idea how long it'll be before Tova is released; the hospital is pretty busy and she's fairly low on the priority list, so she. might have to wait around all day to be seen and cleared for release. 

But then Wylde doesn't come back.

Hours later, as Tova is sick with worry, a haggard-looking nurse enters with a brisk knock. "Ms Koshack? There's another patient in the ER who is demanding I tell you she's been admitted. Name of Wylde Sinclair." 

[Tova koshack]

"What's happened to my wife!" I say face going pale

[GamesMaster]

"She's been bitten by something venomous, we're trying to find an antivenom now. She's insisting on being released, but she was brought in in pretty bad shape, so we're not comfortable letting her leave against medical advice."

[Tova koshack]

"Can I see her? I might be able to talk some sense into her."

[GamesMaster]

"As soon as you're released," she confirms, before jotting down some measurements and whisking away. 

It's another two excruciating hours before the doctor comes and declares her sound enough to leave. Then another hour for administrative paperwork. But finally, she's in the ER, where Wylde is sitting in a mass of bandages, one leg in a cast, looking pale and miserable as she lies in the bed. At first she seems unconscious, but then her eyes flutter open when she hears Tova coming. 

[Tova koshack]

"WhT happened?!"

[Wylde]

"Your husband jumped me just outside," she says quietly, her voice sounding a bit distant. Figures; there's an IV in her, likely with some of the good drugs. 

[Tova koshack]

"Ex husband. You're the only love I have" I say gently taking her hand. "Now you do as the doctors say and get married so we can get down to the court house and make this official ok?"

[Wylde]

Wylde frowns, trying to piece that together, before she chuckles. "Freudian slip? I think you mean get better."

[Tova koshack]

I blush hard "you know what I ment!"
