"You haven't spent much time with Miki outside his role as Keeper, have you?" he chuckles.

Andreas Amell

"Well, sort of I suppose? I mean, he didn't even tell me he was the Keeper at first but he was definitely... aware that he was an adult speaking to a youth, if that makes sense," Andreas admits, nodding, then coughs. "Plus he seemed a little terrified of Mother?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"Oh yes. Your mother is a formidable force," he says with a sagely nod. "Mikael -- which is what you ought to call him unless he's given permission -- has long been afraid of her wrath."

Andreas Amell

"Oh, yes, I know. And yes, he did," Andreas quickly adds. "He went over a fair chunk of catcat social norms and I've done a little research myself as well." He frowns a little. "Though I focused almost solely on everyday interactions, festivals and other celebrations, the office of the Keeper and, of course, art. Which has clearly left some important gaps..."

GamesMaster

"Of course? You are an art lover, then?" He savors the scrap of information, letting it slowly sink into his mind.

Andreas Amell

Andreas pulls himself upright, a hint of arrogance appearing on his face. "I am an artist," he declares proudly.

GamesMaster

"I see," he says, sounding pleased. "And what sort of art do you create?"

Andreas Amell

And then his not son falters, shoulders drooping a hair. Or three hairs even. "I... am unsure, exactly. I've gained competence in dozens, expertise in a handful, but I've not found the one that truly calls me, that can push me towards mastery." The implication that he refuses to settle for 'mere' expertise is unspoken but loudly so.

GamesMaster

"Ah." A pause. "Our kind have done wonders with dyes..." he suggests.

Andreas Amell

"Dyes?" Andreas repeats uncertainty, then again with an unfocused stare, "dyes..."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"Oh yes. You'll want to speak with, let's see... Juniper is a good one to speak with. Or Nikolaus, but he can be a bit... abrasive."

Andreas Amell

"Hmm?" With a small jolt, the younger man's attention suddenly snaps back to Adonis. "What? Sorry, I was-- what kind of fabrics do you usually use?" he nearly demands, voice and gaze both intense.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"Natural fibers only. Our dyes were created for decorating fur, you see, and pigmenting hair. But they work just as well on animal furs, wool fibers, and goat hair."

Andreas Amell

"Ah! It has its foundation in body art, I see. Hmm. I've done some dabbling in weaving before with moderate success so perhaps... hmmm."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"Yes. It is apparently all the rage to use unnatural colors in one's fur now, brilliant blues or cardinal reds, even unnatural patterns." He sounds like he faintly disapproves.
