Andreas Amell

"Remember, Uncle Carver is, ah, impulsive and stubborn. Well. Aunt Aveline is really stubborn too, but more in a determined, headstrong sort of way. As opposed to his bullheaded obstinance."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

"Then yeah, she sounds better. I would hate for him to impulse me to the guard for being an imposter or something."

Andreas Amell

"Ah, thankfully he's probably not..." Andreas pauses, considering. "Okay, unless you get revealed in a truly terrible way-- like terrible as in a bard's farcical, where he walks into a room just as you innocently pick up a bit of fabric that turns out to be Gili's smallclothes or somethin-- he's almost certainly just going to capture or contain you. Err, don't try to fight back. Or escape. If you get made, just ask for Aunt Marian. Or Aunt Aveline, depending. My-- our-- family is super protective, sure, but they're not maniacs or whatever."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

His claws slip out, just a bit. "Like hell. I'm going to fight back if someone tries to grab me."

Andreas Amell

Looking more concerned with every word, Andreas shakes his head quickly. "If you don't try to run or attack back or anything, they won't actually hurt you or even restrain you probably. Uh, like I said, aside from some ludicrous scenario."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

"My whole life has been a series of ludicrous scenarios."

Andreas Amell

"Ludicrous or just improbable? Highly convenient accidents of timing? Or highly inconvenient? Unplanned meetings with unusual people that lead to something significant, a lesson learned that becomes important later, anything like that?" Andreas asks, leaning in suddenly.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

Charon leans back. "....why?"

Andreas Amell

"Have you?" Andreas insists.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

"Not really. But it's amazing I survived I guess. And I didn't end up with the worst kind of family. And I got to learn, despite not being sent to school. And I found Dil."

Andreas Amell

Leaning back, Andreas purses his lips. "Hrrm. Not very clearcut," he finally mutters. "Err, sorry. I was just-- some of what you've said had the earmarks of you being a called adventurer."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

"Hah! Me? No way. I'm just a foster kid with some necromancy training."

Andreas Amell

"No... you're the lost 'prince' of Nyra, hidden in the fields of Sweetwater where you laboured and suffered for over a decade, supported only by your boyhood companion and found brother, where you learned the secrets of a oft misunderstood magic until you decided to go forth unto the unknown to create a new life."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

Charon's ear flicks. "What about you? Descendant of two lights, one the long lost prince of Cattown and the other an upstart adventuring Dwarf out of nowhere. An artist searching for his ticket to fame and glory. That sounds pretty fated too, doesn't it?"

Andreas Amell

Andreas wavers a hand in the air. "Ehhh, could be, maybe, but I feel more like supporting cast I'd say."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?
