"That... could backfire," Varric pointed out carefully. "What kind of notches did you have in mind?"

"...enchanting the dining set?" Helene asks nervously. 

[Varric Thedas]

Unexpected. "In what why slash for what purpose?"

[Helene Dakesh]

"Whatever way gives the prettiest aura. I want everything to shine and glitter when He looks at it."

[Varric Thedas]

"Prettiest aura," Varric muttered thoughtfully. "We could use Magic Aura on them. Far quicker and cheaper to have done, given the number of objects in question. Maybe use the auras to... send a message, ask a riddle... or just create a pattern of some kind? Sage Fibonacci's Pattern maybe? It's a classic."

[Helene Dakesh]

"Or the Pattern of Primes," muses Helene. "But that might be difficult. Fibonacci is easier."

[Varric Thedas]

"I'll hunt down a wizard, you go rest; I'm helping, you're hosting, so you need sleep more."

Helene nods. "If you're certain you won't need my help. I may do some planning before I sleep."

"No longer than a half hour," he bargained.

"An hour," wheedles Helene.

"In the bed, work away and lights out by an hour."

Ne rolls ner eyes, smiling despite nerself. "Alright. But I can do without sleep, you know that."
