Go Down

Charon Tethras

"I assume everyone can kick my ass, I'm a scrawny little necromancer."

Diligence

"I'm also small and necromancer-y but I bite," Dil puts in. "And now that I don't have to file my horns down anymore, I can gore people. Maybe?"
All I really want from life is a cozy den, my real family, good food
and a couple dozen skeleton servants.

Andreas Amell

"...okay," Andreas says after a moment, then goes silent, as if unsure of how to move on from those responses.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

"When should we meet up again, then? To do this?" asks Charon, finishing off the last of his meat pile.

Andreas Amell

"Hmm. Sooner is better, so our F-- For--" Andreas winces. "So Adonis won't notice a switch when we, uh, switch. But I also need time to arrange things so... two days maybe?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Charon Tethras

Charon nods. "Alright. Time and place?"

Diligence

"Well, anyw--"

"Here for dinner," Dil interjects without shame.

Varric

"Hey," Varric calls out as Carver steps into backroom of the tavern. It's one Varric owns, of course, so it wasn't hard to get a private room for a lunch and conversation with his son. "Thanks for breaking away from work on short notice. I ordered ahead," he adds, perhaps unnecessarily, given the platters of roasted meats, bread and cheese, ale and sauces.

Oh, and a small bowl of cucumber and carrots so they can both say they ate a proper meal to their respective spouses.

Carver Amell

Carver tosses a cucumber slice into his mouth, grimacing as he does. There, Lina, I ate something green. "Hey dad. What's happs?"

Varric

Varric puts on a pained expression, one that doesn't hide the amusement in his eyes. "Bright Gods, Carver. 'Happs?' Really?"

Carver Amell

"Hey, all my students are saying it. It's gnomish or whatever. Very cultural." Having had his one requisite green thing, he moves to the meats, building himself a meat and cheese stack on a heel of bread.

Varric

"Toss on an extra cucumber so you can say you had plural," Varric suggests as he assembles his own sandwich. "Classes are going well then?"

Carver Amell

"Aw, you  know how it is -- they're all dumbasses, but I'll have them in shape in six weeks or so." Carver frowns at his sandwich, then slips a single cucumber slice into the sandwich, covering it with mustard.

Varric Thedas

"Anyone standing out?" Varric asks curiously. He can't put off the topic he wants to broach for too long or Carver will feel mislead, but too soon will make him feel ambushed. It's a complicated dance, but one he's gotten fairly skilled at over the years.
Blood is thicker than water- but only after it mixes with air.
