"Now, I think the best use for your first day is to make a few deliveries," says Cameron, as he and Dreas walk toward the market, the former carrying a basket full of packages and a scroll on top. "The most important thing is: no money, no goods. I've prepared a list of clients and packages for each, along with the amount they're due. Some of them are behind, I've had to advance a few, but we're not doing that today. If they don't pay the full amount, you are to walk away and bring their package back with you. Understand?"

Andreas Amell

"Yes, it all makes sense," Andreas confirmed with a smart nod. "Margins are, on average, smaller the smaller the business is, and yours is-- or rather was just yesterday-- you selling some herbs by yourself part-time. I'm new, obviously, so I lack both the knowledge and experience to judge when and to whom advances can be allowed."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"Great, you understand. Start at the top, Old Woman Josie is a sweetheart, she'll be good practice for some of the later customers. Got that all?" They hand over the basket and scroll.

Andreas Amell

"Anyone you're expecting to be an issues," Dreas asked as he read over the list.

"Smithers is usually late on his payments, but his orders are so big I can't drop him."

Andreas Amell

"Alright. Cool. Cool. Alright, I got this," Dreas assured both of them. Perhaps even more himself than Cameron, truth be told.

And it doesn't go terribly! The first couple of deliveries go smooth: he waits while they count out coins, then hands over the parcel, keeping the coins in a separate bag at his belt, trapped between his basket and his body so he can't get pick-pocketed again.

But stop number three, he's met with a surly scowl. "I'll have the money tomorrow."

Andreas Amell

"Ah, that's a terrible shame," Andreas said with a kind smile and a bob of his head. "Well, I'm let Cameron know; like as not, he'll send me back around tomorrow then."

The man steps forward, a big hulking half-orc of a man. "But I need the goods today."

Andreas Amell

"I understand that you do, of course, of course," Andreas replied smoothly, nodding again. "But supplies are limited and we have to put paying customers first."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"So y'er saying I can't have it at all if I don't pay it taday?" he growls. "Ma'aps I don't feel like payin'?" So saying, he takes another step closer, two fists wrapped around each other ahead of him

Andreas Amell

Andreas locked his smile in place even as his heart began to race. "Well, that would be decidedly unfortunate for us all, wouldn't it? I'd be beaten, Cameron would be out his stock... and you'd be blacklisted. Better to wait a day than to be out of luck for good, yah?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"So yer sayin' I should take the whole basket, tide me over til I find a new source."

Andreas Amell

"Not at all, good sir!" Andreas proclaimed grandly. "Why take such a risk when a single night's passing can find you satisfied?" Why the fuck is this guy so damn aggressive about some tea or whatever?
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"And I'm sayin', I need it. I got the deetski."
