And then Heidi is leaning over him, Charon nestled against his side. "Deep breaths, dear. In, count to three, hold, count to three, out, count to three."

Andreas Amell

With a desperate fervor, born from as much from being given an easy plan he can just follow unthinking as from the calm directions themselves, Andreas obeyed her instructions. It helped, albeit slowly and only to a point. Still, that point is a good span before throwing up or flying into full blown hysterics so... win!

"You did good," coos Heidi, rubbing Andreas's back. "You did so good honey, you did a good job, good boy."

Andreas Amell

Woof, Andreas found himself thinking with droll amusement. She sounds like mom after her little Pommy learned that the yard is for potty, not her flower pots. Still, his body slowly started to relax, the tone helping despite his less than kind thoughts on Heidi's efforts. "Honey?" No, not-- not right now. "Tea?" he tried again.

"I'll get us some tea," confirms Ezra, heading for the door.

"Does anything hurt, precious?" asks Heidi.

Andreas Amell

"Chest stings," Andreas replied after a moment of careful introspection. "Head is pounding." A pause, then awkwardly, "and, ah, I feel... a bit chaffed? On my..."

She plants a kiss on his temple. "Poor kitten. Do you want me to rub some lotion on it?"

Andreas Amell

His eyes widened with panic. "No! You might wake it up!"

She rubs his chest instead. "Shh, that's okay kitten. I'll leave it alone. You just rest. Just let me take care of you. I'll take care of everything."

Adonis Naodi

Don starts from his position bent-over some old books when he hears the knock at the door. Spying his lady, he rubs the back of his neck, trying to work out a crick. "Sorry, am I late for supper?"

NPCs

There was a small delay before the door opened, before soft, hesitant footsteps sounded behind him. The tiny click-clack of claws on the floor made it clear who the person was; Bahram wouldn't docilely follow anyone but Nyessia after all. The voice that answers him, however, was so off from normal that he found himself second-guessing him immediately.

"Don..? Can... can we talk?"
We are many. We are legion. We are... NPCs!

Adonis Naodi

Don frowns, a concerned frown rather than displeased. "Of course, love."

NPCs

When he turned to face her, her appearance seconded her voice. She looked pale around the eyes and mouth, face lined with pain and unease. She's wrapped her arms around her waist protectively, her dinosaur crouched between her and Don wardingly. "Something... something bad happened," she whispered. "It..."
