Aveline Vallen

"I think privacy would be most helpful, which is able to provide that best," Aveline suggested quietly. She gently nudged Carver to the side so she can pull Andreas into a hug of her own, something the merikos catfolk eagerly falls into.

"My place is small, not like you're used to," hesitates Miki. "Honestly, what if I stayed with you at your home? While your mother and grandparents are out, that's the quietest place."

Aveline Vallen

"Carver and I can take turns staying there as well," Aveline slipped in smoothly. "I'll stay till nightfall, then Carver can bunk overnight. Does that sound okay, sweetie?" Against her chest, Andreas just nodded his head mutely.

"And do see if you can recall any other names, or locations. I was serious about wanting to check on any potential victims." With that, the party head back to Carver's house.

Carver Amell

Andreas is brought home, where he's fed, given hot cocoa, and settled in a warm blanket on the couch, where he intends to listen to Carver read aloud to him to help soothe his nerves. Instead, however, his uncle plops down on the couch next to him, book closed. "So. I think it's time we had a little talk, sport."

Andreas Amell

Andreas froze, eyes widening, and he recoiled from Carver's sudden presence. It's only for a quick moment, thankfully, though he still looked startled. "Umm. Yes? What?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Carver Amell

"You haven't seemed interested in dating, so I've been letting it slide, but you're more than old enough for this talk, especially now we know you've got heats instead. Which is perfectly natural, of course. Most catfolk have little to no interest in... that stuff... outside of their heat. But. Well, for starters, do you have any questions?"

Andreas Amell

Carver's words were clearly some sort of spell, based on the way that Andreas changed colour. And there was evidently a paralysis effect as well. "-eee?"
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Carver Amell

Carver coughs a little. "Right, well, I know your Aunt Seli made sure you know the basics. But for next time, you need to think about condoms ahead of time. You will be, ah, extra fertile during your heat, so you need to be real careful, especially with women. Do you, ah, remember if there were any  men in your heat chamber? It's totally fine if so."

Andreas Amell

His gorge rose as he tried to force a image of his twin brother's face screwed tight by orgasm out of his head. "Ysss," he croaked out.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Carver Amell

"Good, good. If you stick to men and use condoms, you'll be alright. No big risk there. You could even ditch the condoms if everyone gets tested and cleaned first. I'd do that until you're old enough to find a mate."

He pauses, then adds, "You're not seriously thinking of joining the Tribe are you?"

Andreas Amell

"Umm." Andreas swallowed thickly, his mind eager to jump topics. Right up until it landed on the new topic, which invokes a flurry of emotions. "I-- n-no? I mean... I wanted to learn about... but now..."
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Carver Amell

"Good, good," he says, relieved. Sensing he might have said the wrong thing, he pushes himself to add, "I mean, you can if you want. It's your heritage, and your decision. But I'm glad you're not seriously thinking of joining. They don't... the way they do things there isn't right. Children deserve to have two parents, not just one."

Andreas Amell

"Or four to a dozen?" Andreas retorted weakly. Still looked shaky and pale, but hey, that was an actual joke.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Carver Amell

Carver gives a fond smile, ruffling his hair. "Brat. But you know what I mean."
