Andreas Amell

"That... sounds pretty reasonable?" He sounded more like he was asking, not offering his own opinion, an impression reinforced when he glanced at Carver.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

GamesMaster

"Unless you re-offend, yes, it should be tolerable," agrees Miki.

Andreas Amell

Andreas nodded slightly, but kept his gaze on Carver, making it clear whose opinion he really wanted out of everyone here. Including himself.

Carver Amell

"I'm a little concerned about this celebrity thing," says Carver slowly. "But otherwise it sounds good."

Andreas Amell

Eyes wide, Andreas snapped his head back around to Miki. Wait, right, he did say something about... "Celebrity? Why? How?"

GamesMaster

"You know, return of the prodigal son, that sort of thing. One who was lost to the Tribe has returned. And because of who your family is, as well."

Andreas Amell

"Oh. So you mean my Grandpa is a celebrity," Andreas clarified with a snort. Typical fawning then.

GamesMaster

"But you as well. As I said, we do not get many who choose to return to the Tribe once they have other options." Judging by Miki's tone and Carver's expression, there's a story there...

Andreas Amell

"I would not put too much weight on fame or celebrity when deciding which path to take," Garrett suggested quietly.

Andreas nodded, both to Miki and then to Garrett, his face wrinkled with thought. "Yeah, that's... I think-- however this goes, I'd like those lessons. About how to... control..." He gestured at himself awkwardly, particularly towards his lower half.

Miki nods. "Of course. My door is open for things like this, as is Adonis'."

Andreas Amell

Andreas mustered a smile, wan to be sure, but true all the same. "Okay. Okay. So... okay. Umm. How long can I think over..?"

GamesMaster

"How about, breakfast tomorrow? Once you've had a good night's sleep?" Miki offers.

Andreas Amell

Panic surged through Andreas as the seemingly blindingly fast timeline but he forced it down. Mostly. His heartbeat still sounded like a horse racing over cobblestone and his skin felt both too tight and as if it were trying to crawl off him. "Okay," he croaked out, head bobbing once. Given what I-- I mean, he-- what happened, that's... yeah.
Oh cruel gods, why have you hidden my muse so?

Carver Amell

"What about giving him a full day?" asks Carver, but Miki frowns.

"I would prefer to get this over with soon."

Andreas Amell

"I don't-- thank you Uncle, but I don't think anything less than a few months would be any different than tomorrow breakfast," Andreas said with an edge of laughter in his voice. The rest of the blade, however, was forged from controlled panic, sickening guilt, bitter resentment and aimless confusion.
