The serpent and the Hawks

[Addina]

"Yes it can show you anything and anyone."

[Carver Amell]

"..my sister. I want to be sure she's okay."

[Addina]

"Simply say "shot me" followed by her name and she'll pop up. It may take a minute if she's indisposed you wouldn't want to be rude."

[Marian Hawke]

The girl on the image is leaner than Carver, less muscular. She's laying on a blanket, reading by a cheap candle light, face intent on whatever it is she's reading. It's hard to tell where she is, since the surroundings are so dim. 

[Addina]

"You can talk to her if you want"

[Carver Amell]

Carver hesitates. What could he say? Then he shakes his head. "No, that's... that's fine. I just wanted to see that she was okay."

[Addina]

"Oh. Ok." I look at her she's very pretty and has a very nice but....

"Hello Marian I just want you to know that Carvers safe" I say I to the mirror "please live a good life and be happy. Don't worry I'll take good care of him here."

[Marian Hawke]

Marian jerks, lifting her head. "Who said that?"

[Addina]

"I did!" I say smiling

[Marian Hawke]

"Whos there? Where are you? What did you do with my brother!?"

[Addina]

I move my hand and we appear carver with his head resting in my lap. "I'm Prindless Addina of the morning dew. We're in my palace I. The summer kingdom. Carver made a deal with my father who then gave him to me as part of my court."

[Marian Hawke]

Marian lunges, reaching for Carver, only to find her hand goes through the image like empty air. "Give him back!" she demands. "Take me instead."

[Addina]

"I can't I don't have his contract. But if you make one with me it's can override his."

[Marian Hawke]

"Fine," she says instantly. "What are the terms?"

[Carver Amell]

Carver sits up. "Don't you dare!"
