The serpent and the Hawks

[Carver Amell]

"Who are you?" he asks the woman in front of him.

[Addina]

"Oh! I'm princess Artimisia, Addina, Constanza Summerset of the morning dew. It's a pleasure to meet you Sir....?" I say dipping a curtsy

[Carver Amell]

"...Carver. Carver of the Amell family."

[Addina]

I take the leash from my fathe and lead him into a lush garden full of plants from all over th known plane.  Once we're outside I remove the leash. "If you follow me I won't need to drag you around. Papa likes to use them but I don't I think it's rude...also if it's ok I'll use your name and not call you a pet I think that's rude. Papa says that if you're willing to singe your life away then you shouldn't be in charge of it in the first place but I disagree. I've convinced father to let me have an all mortal court when I take my throne later this year I have ladies in waiting, courtiers, bards, and even a jester! The only two things I'm missing is a prince and a guard. You have very pretty eyes! Maybe father will like you and let you take the test to be one of mine?! Would you like that?.....oh! Here's the baths....I'll need to go with yu to be sure you don't drown fairy baths are quite different  but I can shut my eyes if you want!" I say opening the door to the large crystal bathhouse

[Carver Amell]

"...it's fine, I just bathed two days ago."

[Addina]

"You still need one to be sure you don't make anyone sick our humans haven't left the Fay wild in centuries and you may get them sick I'd really like it if you didn't get my friends sick so please bathe of your own accord so I don't have to wash you I'd rather treat you like an adult than a pet."

[Carver Amell]

"...I'm sorry, centuries?! Humans don't live that long, maybe elves but..."

[Addina]

"We'll it's only been a few years here but in your plane it's been much longer time moves differently here. If you were to go back to where you came from about a week would have gone by in the time you e been here or at least that's what papa says I don't know for sure I've never left the summer lands."

[Carver Amell]

"...how long do I have to stay?"

[Addina]

"I don't know it was in your contract." I shrug entering the bath house

[Carver Amell]

"Well I didn't have time to read it."

[Addina]

I sigh and conger his contract....."let's see.... In exchange for the life of.....blah blah blah..... I Carter Amelia here by trade my natural life for hers and agree to spend the rest of my days in the fae wilds." I finish before vanishing the page.  "So I guess you live here forever now. Which maybe sad for you but I promis it's not a bad place! And if you get placed in my court you'll have a good life I promis! I take very good care of my mortals."

[Carver Amell]

"Wait... forever?!" He stares at her for only a moment. "Wait, does that mean my sister is immortal?"

[Addina]

"Oh no she'll die one day, but so long as you live here you'll outlive her by a lot...but you'll die one day too... it's very sad but mortals still die here unless they choose to become fae but there's a lot of tests for that and it really hard.... But like I said I'll take really good care of you until my coranation and if you get placed with me then you will always have a good life."

"...my sister's an elf. She was going to outlive me by... a lot."
