The serpent and the Hawks

"Hawk i like that. Hes having a cuddle dont worry itsfime" therws a mock at my door and my maid enters with two boxes one large one for me and one for carver "of look fathers sent you a presemt carvwr" i gush

[Carver Amell]

Carver tenses, breathing coming fast and shallow. 

[Marian Hawke]

Hawke frowns. "Why did your father send him a present? Isnt' he a captive?"

[Addina]

"Oh no hes a conyractee membwr of my court. And father gives all his courtasans preaemts" i say
Opening the box "iooo its lovely!" I say pulling out a delicate gold necklace with a carved ruby rose pendant "shall I pit it on you?"

[Marian Hawke]

Hawke glares at Carver. "Courtesan? Like a whore?" she asks, her voice frosty. 

[Addina]

"Father has many lovers but no whores....at least I don't think so...."

[Carver Amell]

"Shut up," mutters Carver again, not moving. 

[Marian Hawke]

"You have all those pretty names for me but you're doing the same shit yourself!"

[Addina]

"There's a note in here. 'To my thorny rose I look forward to our next sparing. Be not afire to use your thorns next time? Your loving gardener" how very sweet!"

[Marian Hawke]

Hawke makes a disgusted noise and turns away. "Where are my rooms? I want to get settled."

[Addina]

.oh well I don't know yet as we won't be in the permanent palace for a few months but for now you can sleep with me and tomorrow I'll get you setup tomorrow morning"

[Marian Hawke]

"Sure. Whatever. Bathroom?"

[Addina]

"Through the door on the left"

[Carver Amell]

As Hawke stalks off, Carver sits up, rubbing at his eyes.

You can sleep here I'd you like or you can sleep in the pages room. It's just down the hall there"
