"I won't brake him." I say happily "you may take me to the summer fate at the end of the month and come to tea on Friday."

[GamesMaster]

"Fine. But I will choose the chaperone."

[Addina]

"Very well name your pick."

[GamesMaster]

"Darran Greenfield." Fae don't age quickly, but they do age, and as they do they become world-weary and dissociated from reality. Darran Greenfield was older than Addina could fathom, a withered old man with a beard of moss and grass-green eyes clouded by cataracts. He certainly won't be overhearing much from their room if posted outside.

"Fine. I'll se you both Friday. May I go now father?"

"No there's more business to discuss but as it is a summer matter Mordred you are dismissed!"

Once he leaves I turn to my child. "Humans in th Fay lands are rare. And there are special laws and treaties in play. Addina you may not get pregnant with his child so you both will need birth control. Also princess as much as you find it distasteful you will need to pick a royal consort of Fae or Elven blood of winter lands I order to maintain your realm."

Carver raises his hand. "I mean, my dad is an elf?"
