Carver Amell

Marian Hawke

"A clarification, for I am mortal and stupid, my lord: is this gift solely in reparations of the wrong done or is it also for his continuing favor?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Oberon

"This is for his forgiveness jewelry and other ornaments for his company. After all I can't have my newest consort looking shabby"

Addina

Carver Amell

"I'm a boy-- I mean, a man! I don't wear jewlery!"

Addina

"Oh but you'd look so pretty!" I pout

Oberon

"Your men don't wear jewelry?! What a sad place you must livin. You should never go back stay here and let me spoil you forever

Carver Amell

"No way," he growls. "You've just never met a good solid human man before. You should come with me to Nyra for the day and I'll show you what men are like."

Oberon

"Oh my that sounds like a lovely time let's go right now!" I wave my hand and a door appears "shall we?"

Carver Amell

Carver blinks. "uh. Sure. Okay."

Ten minutes walk has them at the Temple to Valshath, where Carver leads him to the practice yard to see the men wrestling each other in feats of strength. Each man is massive, built like a tank and wearing only a short garment covering their pelvis to their knees. Several have their hair cut scandalously short, shaved nearly or just cut to an inch long, while others have their hair a proper long length, tied back out of their faces.

Carver leans on the fence, watching the games. This is... doing strange things to me, he admits, though he refuses to think too hard about what those things might be. It must just be that I'm overawed at their strength.

Oberon

"Oh my" I purr happy "so this is the customary garb of your people? I must say I do appreciate it, and you shouldn't feel the need to wear our styles I want you to be comfortable sweet one." I say leaving at. Him

Carver Amell

He scowls. "This is specifically athletic gear," he admits. "Next stop I want to show you the swordfighters at the Vangal temple. That's more my style."

Oberon

"Lead on, I must say lean muscle is more my type" I say taking his arm

Carver Amell

Blushing, Carver leads towards the Vangal temple, though he stops at a food vendor. "Want some? It's fried dough with herbs and stuff inside."

Oberon

"Fried bread?" I ask tilting my head "don't you bake your bread? I thought all humans baked bread?"
