Go Down

Marian Hawke

"Let's visit your market, and buy some supplies, and next time we'll go camping."
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Addina

I pout slightly but nod. "Ok, then let's go!" I summon a door and we walk through into an ally way. There's a big bus.king market just past the entrance. "Oh! It's just as I've seen through the looking glass! Isn't it wonderful!" I grab hawks hand and hurry towards the street.

Marian Hawke

Hawke grabs Addina by the waist and yanks her back, just as a heavy coach-and-four comes roaring down the street. "Be careful!" she scolds, heart pounding.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Addina

"Right sorry" I blush nuzzling into her "it's a good thing I have you to protect me" I giggle batting my eyes at her. I walk once more to the entrance of the ally only this time make sure to look both ways before stepping out.

The market is full of hustle and bustle. There's all sorts walking around. Fairies, elves, gnolls, humans, and more. There's street vendors, and musicians, puppet shows and 'magic' tricks. There's dancers and performers of all kinds, merchant shops and stalls not to mention the proper stores with glass windows. Some hawk whales from carts or baskets some have blankets set up with their goods others have ramshackle tables and booths. The sounds of people and animals fill the air. There's the scents of people, perfumes, food, spies, animals, and more it's a bright cocofeny on the senses and Addina is loving every second standing in the mouth of the ally way just wide eyed and starting at everything.

They wander around a while, try street foods and looking at trinkets. After an hour they have a lovely tent and beds and all the supplies for camping. They're haggling over the price of a book Addina wants when a group of well dressed ladies approaches and one of then walks right into hawk before scratching "eek! It touched me! Get that thing on a leash Dina! You can't just let your feral human pets wander around attacking people!"

Marian Hawke

Hawke narrows her eyes, but looks up to Addina to see how she wants to play this.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Addina

"Lady Lucia I would advise you to watch your daughter's toung as this elf of the winter lands is my personal guest pending our marriage next month."

Npc

The older woman in the group blinks "but highness I thought you were to wed ki-I mean prince Mordred? Not this....elf."

Marian Hawke

"This elf is about to be your better, so you should watch your tongue," says Hawke, tone mild and casual, but eyes holding menace.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Addina

"Darling you're already better than her, you have magic," I smile sweetly and turn words Lucia "as for rumors of my engagement to mordred clearly they are false and besides that he needs a few years more to mature for my tastes. Though that's something we differ in clearly" I say eyes flicking to her newest boyfriend who is younger than me

Npc

"I will dispel the rumors then" she says face burning Luca gives a brief curtsy "I shall see you both tomorrow then at tea." She says before quickly taking her leave

Marian Hawke

"How long do you think we have?" murmurs Hawke, as she watches the woman walk away.
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Addina

"We'll she can't fly or do magic so... an hour at most. But we should get back right away." I look at the sky to judge the Time "if we go now we can meet papa in the garden for tea which will make it harder for him to believe we left."

Marian Hawke

"Oh! I figured she'd get some friends and kick our ass. You think she'll snitch?"
Honesty. Openness. Trust. Not being stabbed in the gut with a sword.

Addina

"Oh she won't hit us but she'll fight with words and rumors that's the courtly way." I roll my eyes

Go Up
