The serpent and the Hawks

[Marian Hawke]

Hawke wrinkles her nose. "Can I hit her?"

[Addina]

" no but you did great with her "

[Marian Hawke]

Marian makes a face. "I hate that stuff."

[Addina]

"So do I" I say opening the door back to the palace "but that's how things go right now. Things will be different when father and his court go to regenerate in a few years. That's when there will be a lot more hitting especially if father doesn't name a successor before hand" I say as we cross back appearing in my room. I smile sinking down onto a plush chaise "if it leaves a power vacuum then I have a chance to take the throne of all seasons and not just as a wife. Be the first time too it was a Queen and her consorts and not the other way round."

[Marian Hawke]

Hawke grimaces. "So what you're saying is I should get some real training, not just street scrapping?"

[Addina]

"It wouldn't hurt" I nod "but. Can also use help swaying the armies...."

[Marian Hawke]

"I'm not... persuasive," she admits. 

[Addina]

"No but you are fun, and the more you train with them the more friendly they will be...besides it's two birds one stone"

[Marian Hawke]

"Well, if you insist, my lady. Now let's go concoct an alibi."

[Addina]

"What did you have in mind sweet one?" I purr pulling the hem of my skirt up sudjestivly

[Marian Hawke]

Hawke raises her eyebrows. "I mean, if that's what you wish of me, m'lady, I can certainly try..."

[Addina]

"Only if you want to"

[Marian Hawke]

She reddens a little. "I.. am not certain how."

[Addina]

"I can teach you if you wish"

[Marian Hawke]

"...I'd like that."
