This may actually be the first time Morden has heard her speak an entire sentence without stuttering or stammering! Which is... surprisingly cute. Huh.

A few hours later, having gone back to his room to relax, Kenji finds himself -- quite naturally -- needing the restroom. As he walks down the hallway, however, he hears an intriguing noise: it's got the cadence associated with a news report, very solemn and stern, but the voice is in Japanese. The contents, however, are alarming: it sounds as if the Empire Police are going to be giving a live broadcast?

The noise is coming from Sigfried's room... Is he watching the news?

Kenji scratches his head as he turns towards Sigfried's room. Huh... what's going on now. The restroom can wait a little after all, he didn't need it that badly. He moves to knock quietly on Sigfried's door.

As he raises his hand to knock, the next voices seem odd, out of place. Is that... people reacting to the news broadcast? The news seems to be talking about some kind of serial killer --- oh! Was this one of those crime drama shows he's overhearing?

The door creaks open, and Siegfried peeks out. "..hello," he says, cautiously.

The lanky fellow known as Kenji had a bit of a casual stance as the door creaked open, perhaps a little lackadaisical. He shrugs his shoulders a little, answering "Hey, I was a little confused at what I was hearing from your room... at first but ahhh, that show... The Lineup, is it?"

Sigfried... actually blushes. It's rather fetching: a smattering of red across his cheeks and nose. "Ah, no, sorry, it's Death Note."

[Rednaxela]

Kenji perks up and smiles, "Oh, I've never actually seen that but I've heard good things... certainly got the impression it would be to my tastes from what I heard!"

[yamikuronue]

Siegfried looks startled. "R-really? I-- yeah, sure, I'll start it over. I've seen it before," twenty-seven  times, "but it's a good one. Classic."

[Rednaxela]

"O- Oh, sure! That would be cool. Are you sure?" Kenji tilts his head, looking a bit surprised.

[yamikuronue]

"Yeah, of course. I love showing people new stuff."

[Rednaxela]

Kenji nods slowly and fidgets, looking around the hallway and making sure there isn't anyone else nearby in the hall.

Siegfried blinks, watching him as he conducts his check.

It's at about this point that Zee opens her door and walks down the hall towards the mess area. Thankfully she's wearing clothes, though the practically skintight jumpsuit doesn't leave much to the imagination. Zee doesn't appear to notice the two in the hallway at all and quickly dissappears from sight as she turns the corner, apparently destined for the coffee maker in the corner of the mess area.

Kenji fidgets a bit and leans to the side in a fashion as to get a view past Siegfried into the doorway. He doesn't particularly make note of Zee, though the sounds of footsteps to register.

Siegfried rolls his chair to one side. "I can turn this so you can have a seat on the bed?" he offers, pulling up the menu.
