The Black Dirge [Sci-fi]

Kenji nods, "Medical tech, to allow growing a culture of one's own cells, to put back into one's body when needed to aid healing processes... if your power does work in a way that harms you... that may be particularly relevant... Not the easiest to get a hold of nor the most reliable tech though."

[Hitoshirenu Shourai]

"Oh..." she goes silent for a long moment. "But... if I can help people... then it's okay if I get hurt. It would... be nice... to feel useful..." she gives a feeble smile, and a look of determination enters her expression, "I'll... do my best!" She scoots back to the edge of the bed and sets Yukki down, standing up a bit too quickly and getting dizzy, using Mr. Marbles to keep her balance, "C-could you help me to the gym...?"

[Rednaxela]

Mr Marbles nods as he starts to lead her there, "Sure, want to talk to Zee I assume?" That's a good sign, he thinks to himself, as was that look of determination. Good, good.

[Hitoshirenu Shourai]

"Y-yes. I'm... not usually... good at talking... so it would be nice if you could... help me out in explaining." Well at least she seems to be finally making progress! Maybe increasing her endurance and stamina is just what she needs to improve! And with the small amount of people, it's exceptionally less likely for her to get sick, assuming her powers were the cause.

Paperwork submitted, Shinigami rises from the computer, moving swiftly to the gym. Definitely going to need a good hard workout to get her head clear again.

Zee's still in the middle of her workout when Shinigami enters the room. Currently she is doing one handed chinups with her back to the door. She seems to be engrossed in thought, even as she switches hands in mid chinup, as she doesn't address Shinigami's entrance.

[yamikuronue]

"Ah, good, you're here." her voice is softer, trying to keep from startling Zee, but she can't keep the frustration out of it.

[accalia]

"Call didn't go as you planned?" Zee asks casually, dropping from the chinup bar. "Let me guess i have.... hmm... two weeks to get her into some kind of shape? You do love giving me a challenge."

Zee smiles impishly as she makes her guess. It's not often she gets such a clear opportunity to tease Shinigami, and she feels it's important to take people down a notch periodically, just to keep them on their toes.

[yamikuronue]

"Actually, yes. Her first progress report is due in two weeks, and we have a month to get her useful all told." Shinigami's tone is dry, but she's clearly not kidding as she makes for the ladder.

[accalia]

"Well, let it never be said i shrink from a challenge. Did you get my requisitions requests in while you were on the horn with big boss?" Zee asks, positioning herself to do some sit ups while she waits for her latest project to appear.

[yamikuronue]

"Yeah, I put in the paperwork just after," she says, starting up the ladder. The jeans and tank top she's wearing seem fine for this, she decides as she starts to climb.

[accalia]

"Good. Hopefully they don't jerk us around on this one. it's an important one." Zee replies levely. While she knows that Shinigami wouldn't intentionally mess up a requisition order, and is unlikely to make an error unintentionally, she holds no such trust for the quartermasters that will be fulfilling the requisition.

Shinigami just grunts in reply, continuing her climb up to the upper story, above the nets.

Arriving at the entrance to the gym, Kenji nods to Kimiko, "Fair enough. I'll see what I can do." Kenji then looks up... hey... Shin is here too, not just Zee, go figure. Just hopefully that won't scare the newbie...

[Hitoshirenu Shourai]

Kimiko, accompanied by Kenji, enters the gym, looking a bit skittish but nevertheless determined, "Z-z-z-zee-san! P... please help train me!" she manages to squeak out, bowing so hard and fast that she loses balance and stumbles forward a bit, but regains her balance and continues her bow. Whatever Kenji said to her seems to have gotten her quite motivated! Maybe she really is promising...
