"If i believed you would have dont it i wouldn't have offered." Sam says giving into the pain and massaging the impact point gently. "Course i've been wrong before, I didn't think you'd even hit me."

"What's your next lead?" she demands. Hopefully he's after Erika to begin with...

"Not sure really. I was rather hoping you'd provide it. all the note said was my name and the words "have Faith." Sam pronounces the word like a name, even though the note did not capitalize the word like a name."

T scowls. "Having me is off the table," she says, bluntly. "Who's it from? Can I see it?"

[accalia]

"Well, i certainly don't want to have you, not against your will, and not in the way you seem to think. You're just not my type." Sam says flatly, but not unkindly "As for showing you the note, I propose a trade, You tell me how you knew i have it and I'll let you examine it in as much detail as you desire. Information for information."

"I  have superpowers," she says, flatly.

"Go on." Sam says, not accepting that as a complete answer.

[yamikuronue]

She shrugs. "I still don't know how they work. The note, it... hums. Which is why I wanted to see it."

[accalia]

Sam thinks about that for a while then "was it humming when you first saw me, or did you notice it later?"

"It's been since I saw you."

[accalia]

Sam frowns, it's plain he feels that she's not being truthful, not fully. after a long moment he sighs "I had hoped you wouldn't hold things back... But I always keep my word." and he takes the note out of his pocket and places it on the table to be examined.

The note was a simple scrap of paper with "Sam, have Faith" written on one side. Of course now that T was looking at it, she could hear the humming again and it had a very faint outline of light blue. ~I...don't think that pulse should cling like that. Usually if something is dead, it doesn't attract it.~
