CalamityJade

It seems to be that they cancelled the rest of the performance after they tried to keep the crowd calm for a few minutes. The crowd didn't seem to be very keen on the show now, though there were many that wondered if the dancer was going to be alright. He was actually rather famous to people who frequented the ballet and the idea that he'd be injured on stage was almost unheard of. It became THE discussion going on as people were shuffling back to the lobby and outside.

In fact, one person was being particularly loud about it. "Of course that's an idiotic idea! There is no way that sort of thing would happen!" The man seemed on the stocky side with greying hair and a well tailored suit, though what was the most vibrant was the red face he was sporting. "I swear, if you lot can't blame the Waiting for something, it's 'the will of the city'. How can someone get as far as you and still believe that sort of nonsense is beyond my comprehension!" Erika was sure she'd seen the man before...he'd met with her employer once since she started and he had the same harsh, loud tone then as he did now. That HAD to be Dr. Harrisberg.

Meanwhile, backstage had become deathly silent. Nathaniel was well liked, and the idea that he could be seriously hurt was distressing to most. It was like some grim reminder that even the best of them could be hurt doing the same jumps over and over again. Thankfully, they'd managed to bandage the bleeding and get some ice while the medics were on their way. Julianna had been staying near Nathaniel as they got him backstage, but as things moved along, she went to wait for the medics.

Erika starts, her stomach sinking. Was this.... was this her fault? Bringing her curse here? Did she do this?

"...that's him," she whispers to Rob, trying not to let her fear show.

Nathaniel grasps for Julianna's hand his face strained. "Please... I have to dance..."

Hammer Sister

Saying he's a little upset would be an understatement...

"Would you mind handling the introduction?"

And then the murders began.

yamikuronue

Erika winces. "I.. I can try."

CalamityJade

Julianna gave pause when he grabbed for her hand, but it was only momentary. "Nathaniel, don't worry about that right now...the medics will be here soon and I'm sure you will dance...but not tonight."

Hammer Sister

"It'll be fine; it's not like he's going to do anything silly," Rob assures.

And then the murders began.

Erika takes a deep breath, then approaches the yelling man. "Sir?"

CalamityJade

"Furthermore....Excuse me." Dr Harrisberg turned towards Erika. "Yes? What is it? Can't you see that I'm busy."

yamikuronue

Erika takes a deep breath, managing a weak smile. "Dr Harrisberg, how lovely to see you. Have you met Mr McCarthey?"

Hammer Sister

Rob extends a hand. "A pleasure to meet you, Dr Harrisberg; I understand you're the man to talk to about city history?"

And then the murders began.

CalamityJade

"Right...young man, I have no idea who you are till now, but at least you seem somewhat knowledgeable." Dr. Harrisberg turned to Erika. "You're...Miss Stark? Works with Roidmet, right?"

yamikuronue

Erika nods. "Yes sir. I'm the new personal assistant to Mr Roidmet."

Hammer Sister

"It was Mr Roidmet who suggested I talk to you about something I'm currently investigating; I would be grateful if you would consent to an interview," Rob adds. "At a more convenient time, of course."

And then the murders began.

CalamityJade

"What the devil is Gregory even doing, sending you here." He looked annoyed, but he seemed to be considering it. "Wait...investigation? Are you with the police or those damned gilded suits?" huh...Dr. Harrisberg was starting to draw a little bit of attention from the people still trying to leave.

Hammer Sister

"My apologies; I should have explained I'm assisting the GRD on a case. They've asked me to be as discreet about it as I can, and I fear we might be attracting a bit too much attention at this moment; I think it's best we continue this discussion somewhere a little quieter."

And then the murders began.
