"Not from what I can see. Seems like something gets left behind, something important."

[Hammer Sister]

This is gonna be one of those crackpot stories...

"What's so important it hangs around after you die?"

[yamikuronue]

T gives him a flat look. "What do you think?"

[Hammer Sister]

"Are you suggesting that your soul hangs around after you die?"

[yamikuronue]

"Something of you. Memories. Soul. Whatever it is, it's identifiable."

[Hammer Sister]

Yep, crazy.

"How?"

Wait, why am I continuing?

[yamikuronue]

She shrugs, sipping her drink. "What do you know about Pulse? Really know."

[Hammer Sister]

"I know that it is the energy source that powers the city and helps it to prosper."

[yamikuronue]

"Yeah, but what is it. What's it made of? Where does it come from?" She takes another sip, for emphasis. "I know. And I wish I didn't."

[Hammer Sister]

"In all honesty, I don't really know; it's not something I've ever thought about. I always assumed it was generated somewhere, most likely by burning a fuel of some sort; I get the feeling you've been informed otherwise."

[yamikuronue]

She nods. "Course, it doesn't do me any good. I've got a mystery of my own to solve, all this is a distraction."

[Hammer Sister]

"Out of interest, who told you these details about Pulse?"

[yamikuronue]

She looks at him sideways again, trying to decide how much to share. "A fatespinner."

[Hammer Sister]

"The only fatespinner I know of is Lady Mordriana; it's my understanding she's still in a coma."
