"It's a bar," Rob corrects. "It's actually where we bumped into each other."

Erika nods, slowly. "That seems safe enough, then, yes."

"Great. Let's go." replies T, curtly.

The trip back to the bar wasn't too eventful, and in short order they're able to get a seat to discuss what was actually going on.

After getting settled, Erika opens the conversation, hesitantly.

"Rob said you might be of help with my problem?"

"Probably not," says T, frowning. "What's your problem?"

"Oh, I... I'm not sure how to explain..." she looks at Rob, helplessly.

"The issue appears to be that something affects Erika, causing her to... I guess 'lose control' is the best way to put it," Rob explains. "Luckily, I was there the last time it happened, so I was able to help snap her out of it before she hurt herself. It seems to have something to do with faking being Welcomed; if I remember rightly, you said it felt like the city was trying to kill you for deceiving it?" The question, of course, being directed at Erika.

She nods.

T blinks. "You can fake being Welcomed?" Crys, do you see anything weird about her?

~What do...that...looks wrong. She has...um, extra lights? It's not the same as a ghost, but there's....something that is extra.~ She gets that blue haze in her vision and if she focused on Erika, she would see how there were bright balls of light within her, but that some of them were dimmer and didn't really stay still. They twitched this way and that every once in a while. Rather disturbing, actually. Kind of like a fly wiggling in a web while the spider makes it's way over to it.

Rob answers T's spoken question: "It appears that way, but there's always a catch with deals like that..."

T flinches. "Clearly. She looks... trapped, in my Pulse-vision. Like she's waiting to be devoured by a spider."

Erika pales, putting her head on her arms.

[Hammer Sister]

Rob places a comforting hand on Erika's shoulder.

"Is there anything you can do to help?" he asks T.

Can we... un-extra her? Make her like Rob?

~I...no, I don't think so. There's...people have a kinda shell. It's how I can tell who's a ghost or not.~ If she looked, she could see that there was a thin layer of...something that the Pulse in the air sorta stuck to. ~I don't even know how you'd break those apart, so I don't have any idea what's doin it.~

T frowns, then takes her knife. "Can I see your hand?"

Erika blanches. "Why?"

"I might be able to fix it, let me see."

[Hammer Sister]

"What are you going to do?" Rob asks, concerned.

[yamikuronue]

"I can't get at the.... Pulse, I guess, inside her body. There's sort of a.... an envelope? So maybe if I open her skin a little, I can slip underneath."
