~Yeah! That's the word! You kinda do that sometimes when you're waiting so I was trying to get an idea of what it was. But it's coming from something around them.~ Because that wasn't creepy. ~Does it sound like anything?~ It...did sound recognizable, if not familiar. Though it must be from some time pretty long ago, since not a lot of homeless bums doing humming. Some of them sang or tried to play instruments for scales, but never much humming.

~It.... does. Listen, do you get a read on that guy? Is it safe?~

~There aren't any lines, and the lights looks fine.~ There's a weird buzzing again before Crys 'spoke' again. ~And the 'Handymen' aren't here~ There's a brief flash in T's mind of the large...thing that she'd seen before that building had flattened the man she and Rob had been chasing.

T shudders. ~Cover me.~ she says, and a mental image of someone watching her back with a gun flashes across her mind to lend meaning to the words.

She moves to the table, deliberately spinning the chair around and leaning on the back of it as she plops down, staring at Sam. "Hi."

"Good afternoon. I was wondering if I would meet you so soon." Sam says pleasantly. "Am I to assume that you are Faith, or were you just interested in me in general?"

[yamikuronue]

"...I can be Faith," she allows, with a shrug. "You said something about Rob."

[accalia]

Sam nods. Interesting phrasing. "I did. Looking into some disappearences and his name came up, was trying to find him."

[yamikuronue]

"He's dead," she says bluntly, ignoring the stab of heartache that causes as she watches his face.

[accalia]

"I know." Sam says evenly "Most annoying, Now i have Two mysteries to look into."

[yamikuronue]

"Two?" she asks, tilting her head.

[accalia]

The disappearences and his death."

[yamikuronue]

"Disappearances..." Her face shuts down, looking grim. "You're looking into Obsidian Roidmet."

[accalia]

"Amongst others." Sam says "Have a scone before the tea goes completely cold."

[yamikuronue]

She takes a scone -- never pass up free food -- but doesn't take a bite yet. "You don't want to. It'll get you killed."

[accalia]

"In that case I'll not be bothered about making rent at the end of the month." Sam says "Besides it interests me, disappearences that no one will admit even happened."
