Erika's eyes light up. "That sounds exciting!"

"It wasn't." says T, grumbling.

[CalamityJade]

~But didn't you think the witches were interesting?~

[yamikuronue]

~No,~ she grumbles. ~It's just a made-up story.~

There's a flash of that moment. Seeing the play on stage and hearing the actors give their all in their performance. The playhouse even had large pulse lights in metal domes to make the scene with the ghost and the witches look haunted, and something about the set-up let them make real fog rolling out.

~You seemed to like it.~

[yamikuronue]

She... blushes? ~S-shut up. It's just make-believe.~

[accalia]

Sam glances at Erika questioningly "She do that often? Argue with herself inside her head?"

[yamikuronue]

Erika shrugs. "We only met recently."

[accalia]

Sam shrugs and nods. You meet all sorts in his job. It's okay to be curious, but judging is bad for the paycheck, and paychecks are about as difficult to find as a walking table.

~That doesn't mean you have to not like it. Also, I think they're staring at you. I can't really talk and 'hear' at the same time very well.~

T blushes faintly, trying to play back the flow of conversation. "So uh... when are we meeting?"

[accalia]

Sam shrugs at that question "I have nothing on my day planner right now. An unfortunate state that means i'm in danger of not making rent this month, but it does mean i'm available to meet just about any time."

[yamikuronue]

"This time tomorrow?" suggests Erika.

[accalia]

another shrug from Sam. that works for him.

Thankfully, the evening was rather uneventful, even for T despite the prodding now and again from Crys about some aspect of her past or another...though it took care to avoid anything that got a strong reaction.

The following day, the three would be able to meet at the park, which only had a few people bustling around it by the time they met. Nothing was left to do now but to find Mordriana, which had a high chance of not being released from the hospital as of yet.

T sulks on the way to the hospital. It was bad enough the first time, how did she get roped into doing this again..

Erika is somber as well. She hadn't slept much the night before. Her dreams... they were full of spinning cogs and the desperate attempt to shove them into the right place as they kept falling down and slipping between cracks int he sidewalk... and also her teeth fell out. She stifles a yawn as they approach the hospital.
