Morden...frowned a little. "Do you think he won't be too much? He can be a little intimidating...then again, he could definitely look out for himself."

"Say so." Julie agrees, and plainly out of conversation she shuts up seemingly content to watch the visitor and wait for Morden to return.

Siegfried shrugs. "I mean, if you call her a cab and she goes, that's that, you know?"

Morden sighed. "True, but she might also have a problem getting a hotel room." "So, what's all this about?" O had come into the kitchen from outside. He found that sometimes taking a bit of time on his own outside was relaxing, that and it kept him from having to answer a whole lot of questions about Lance.

Siegfried's mannerism changes just before the door starts to open; he turns from the toddler, throwing the napkin he'd been using to wipe her face into the trash can, and straightens, looking dignified and slightly bored. "Greetings. We appear to have a houseguest; she claims to have been stranded here, and has been unable to call for a ride."

O blinked a second. "The hell? where'd she come from?" Morden kinda shrugged. "I wasn't sure where she was from. Just that she needed help and it would be of very little risk." which he still believed, even if he wasn't sure about her reasons for being here.

O gave something of a sigh. "Then we need to get her back to town and be done with it." Morden cut it. "Um....I did start heating her uip some food?" "Then she can eat, THEN we'll get her out of here."

And so, a few minutes later, Morden brings Caelwyn a plate: leftover homemade pizza with fruit. She looks up as he enters, smiling wanly.

"Thanks."

"No problem." He sets the plate down. "Once you're done, we'll go ahead and get you a ride back to town. It'll probably be easier to get any money wired if you're in town, after all.

"Yes, thank you." She nods, then pauses, chewing her lip. "I uh... still haven't gotten in touch with my mother."

"easier to do that in town" Julie asserts sharply. "Also easier to get bus home."

she did not get a plate of food, but and seems discontent with this arraement.

'<alpha eats first, if she eats first then she is alpha. that is not allowed!>' bitch screams at julie inside her head, but the only thing that escapes juli's mouth is an almost subsonic growl.

"You're quite welcome. Everyone else already ate earlier, so  I hope you don't mind left-overs." Morden gave a long sigh at that news. "That is...unfortunate, but along with being easier to reach in town, you might also be more comfortable. I also believe we can at least pay for a couple of days stay at one of the hotels in town while you try and work out contacting your mother. Not to mention that there are a few places to wire money that might make it easier to recieve.

"Oh, I couldn't," she says, with a faint blush. "Really, you've been too kind already..."

Dammit. They have a whole mansion and they want to put me up in a hotel? she thinks to herself .

"It's quite alright. I can imagine that staying here would make you more uncomfortable." Morden gave a small smile. "Think of it as balancing out your scales, as it were."
