The Gig [Finished]

[accalia]

"Right then. Let's go."

Tony leads the way out of the office, only pausing long enough to formally hand over command to Tina, who looks confused but accepts the command with just comment of 'so you're working Friday night then. Cool, i'll let girlie know the date's on.'

[yamikuronue]

Vic leads the way out, his head down. There's a car idling out front; looks like this time, one of Vic's brothers drove. Vic climbs into the backseat without another word.

[accalia]

Huh.... must be important if they're not waiting for Tony to drive. After a moment Tony shrugs and enters the back of the car as well.

[yamikuronue]

As he shuts the door, the driver takes off, driving... actually rather quickly.

"Did you fill him in?" he asks, not looking back.

"Yes. Kind of. No." says Vic, nervously.

[accalia]

"You have a problem, a big one to grab me in the middle of the night at work. If it's important enough for Vic to do that it must be really important."

Tony doesn't know what's going on, just that it's important.

[yamikuronue]

Vic nods. "He just... he just sort of collapsed. He was acting real weird, but I figured that was normal given the circumstances, and then he kind of tilted his head and said the room was spinning and then he fell over. He's burning up real hot, and we don't know what to do."

[accalia]

Tony sighs, well if this is the problem he at least knows what to do.

"He do any drugs? If so, what did he do? And step on it, we might not have much time. Traffic laws just went out the window, if you get stopped I'll deal with it."

[yamikuronue]

"No, no drugs." says Vic, as his brother speeds up.

"I'm telling you, it's his finger." says the driver.

Vic winces. "Maybe he has the flu or something."

[accalia]

"No drugs.." Tony sounds slightly suspicious but doesn't press the matter 'What's this about his finger?"

[yamikuronue]

"He lost it," says the driver.

"Something like that," mumbles Vic.

[accalia]

"He lost it recently i assume." Tony says. yeah. they need a doctor for this one.... "Who is with him now?"

[yamikuronue]

"Gabe." says the driver, who, by process of elimination, must be Bill.

"Two days ago," adds Vic. "He was... indiscreet."

[accalia]

"Right. How long till we get there?"

[yamikuronue]

"Four minutes," estimates Bill, picking up a bit more speed.

[accalia]

"The faster the better...." Tony actually seems concerned at this...
